Had back surgery (spinal fusion)and switched over toAsics ,now on to my 3rd pair to give variety. They make me walking and physio routine so much easier, less pain and more comfortable.
I have been wearing these shows for a few weeks now for work and they are super comfy. I bought this due to the leather upper and so far so good. It was comfortable from first day of wear and hopefully it will last for a long time. The sole doesnt make any wierd sounds either. The colours are great match with my uniforms.
Ive come from the 540 through a couple pairs of 550trs. I wear these for up to 10 hours of tennis a week and 2 - 3 weights sessions. No blisters, no wearing in period. My podiatrist warned me off "tennis" shoes and told me to wear these. I once tried to pick a prettier tennis shoe against his advice and couldnt walk after wearing that shoe. I went straight back and bought another pair of these. PLEASE BRING BACK THE WHITE SHOE, we arent meant to wear black soles on tennis courts!
I bought these leather walking shoes 2-3 months ago. They were instantly soft & comfortable to wear. Subsequently the leather has molded further to my foot shape.Downside is that they have a tendency to slide on wet surfaces, especially the sole below the ball of the foot. This occurs even on rough bitumen road surface.Overall am very happy with the shoe.
I waited months to buy these to replace my previous tennis shoes which were discontinued (Gel540TR D Wide) and as far as the size and fit goes, they are what I waited for.2 niggles however:1. As these are a D Wide shoe, you'd think ASICS would make the tongue also wider. Nope. No. Tongue is still as narrow as standard fit shoes. There are wide 1cm EACH SIDE gaps between the tongue and the shoe where the laces are. Bother. Lets sand in at copious volumes, and looks stupid.2. Laces supplied by ASICS are about 40cm too short to lace through all holes and tie. As a result I have to miss 2 pairs of lace holes on each side, exacerbating the sand ingress.
I purchased these shoes just under a month ago and I can tell you now, AMAZING! So very comfortable. I'm on my feet 9+ hours a day and prior to purchasing these shoes, my feet were in agony and swollen. These shoes are amazing. The best investment. So very very pleased
I bought these in the hope of easing the pain in my feet. I suffer plantar fascists and work in my feet. These shoes have significantly reduced the pain I had and are really comfortable and great to wear at work. Highly recommend these shoes
