I have been running for four decades and developed piriformis syndrome a few months ago. Among other things, my therapist suggested changing shoes from a stability to a neutral shoe so I switched to these very comfortable shoes. Glad I did. They seem reasonably roomy, have soft cushion and are less restrictive so my muscles get a workout as I begin to gradually run again from a fast paced walk.

Purchased on line through ASICS Australia once my previous Cumulus’s wore out - 2yrs constant wearing, walking & running all terrain.Quick delivery to rural Tasmania.Quite comfortable as an all rounder shoe - I mostly walk - but:*They squeak which is a tad annoying!*Shoe laces are too short for the cross over lacing I do at the top to hold the shoe into my ankle.Other than that all OK, fitting my orthotics easily.

These shoes hug my feet quite well and the interior features make each step feel very cushioned and smooth.Being on the heavier side this makes walking, jogging or running much more enjoyable and I actually retain some energy due to not shocking my legs with each step. The amount and quality of foam in the sole also gives a very noticeable bounce or spring to each stride.Material in the upper is breathable but still feels high quality and solid like there is quite a bit of substance.

This version of the cumulus is the most comfortable yet ! The upper is plush with a nice step in feel. The toe box is generous and the gusset tounge wraps the midfoot nicely. The upgraded midsole of FFblast + is a nice addiction with softer landings and better pop off toe. The ride is very smooth stable and light on foot with a men's size 8 weighing only 8.4 grams 😀
I walk briskly 4 to 5x per week, 3 to 5 miles per walk. Have had past issues with Plantar Fasciitis. I have tried Brooks and Hokas. These Asics GEL-Sumulus 25 are the first shoes that have enabled me to re-start up my exercise routine and my plantar fasciitis is completely gone. Highly recommend these shoes for those that need extra cushioning and moderate support.
Nice comfortables runners. Not sure when Asiics started going with these soft, soft foamy soles though. That’s my only complaint as they are not the best for rapid movements/pivots in my opinion, as they compress a bit and “torq” under you. Really subtil, but I hoping to get stronger soles. Can’t argue with the shoes lightness and comfort otherwise.
I run anywhere from 3-12miles a week. I was using Brooks previously but felt like it was time for something new after a year. I went in to my local store for a fitting since I hadn't had it done in about 2-3 years. It was suggested I try these, much to my surprise- I fell in love! So far no complaints! I didn't size a half size up as I normally would because I tried it and they seemed too bulky then and they ended up rubbing my heels. My normal size turned out great!
Totally worth the step up from previous generations. They aren't super wide though so if you have a slightly wide foot, likely may need the extra wide. The upper is very comfortable. Toe box feels like it is a bit low. I'm hoping that won't cause an issue or need an upsize. Definitely worth the spend over something like the nimbus 24.
I got the super-wide version of Cumulus-25, I have large feet so I always have to buy bigger size, this time I got 8.5 extra-wide, it fits like a glove. The shoes are super comfortable and very light, I used to run on Ultraboost but Asic Cumulus-25 is so cloudy, you really feel propelled by the shoes.I am not a long distance runner, only 5k or 10k.I highly recommend this Cumulus-25 for comfort and also if you have large feet, Asics does have the shoes in normal, wide and extra-wide version.
Never had a pair of ASICS before. I was recommended the brand and to be sure to choose the gel style. Wow! I have I been missing out all these years. The most comfortable and supportive sneakers I have ever had. I'm 6'4" 250lbs and very active. I have already purchased two more pairs of ASICS. They are a nice true fit, great breathable material, great laces, and feel of quality construction. Not only am I impressed by the shoes, but have to also add that I have never been disappointed by the prices, ease of website use, and the extremely fast and reliable shipping from Altitude Sports. Been using this company for years and will continue for years to come I'm sure. Never a bad experience.
