ASICS left me in limbo when they messed with the width of the now discontinued Gel Fortitude in 2020, I had to return what I expected to be my next pair of runners- Very disappointed, the 2E 10.5 had been my running shoe of choice for a decade. I moved to New Balance fresh foam 1080’s which suit my feet for width, though I continued trying ASICS in hope they might change back to previous width sizing - there’s no end of complaints out there.I purchased the GEL EXCITES as a trial in the widest size, 4E because they are lightly built and have stretchy fabric across the foot and allow for my high instep and wide forefoot. Recently bought US size 12 4E extra wide at our local sports store but they didn't have another pair. I couldn't get size 12 from you on-line but the US11.5 is quite a good fit and is comfortable. I have extra wide feet so width is more important than length. I'll keep looking for a US size 12 locally.

Agree with other reviewers, this is my third pair. Fantastic for running and the only shoe that prevents shin splints for me. However, the toe area consistently wears out and I start seeing holes in the material where the toes sit. Wears quickly if everyday wear - maybe after 7-8 months I start seeing holes.
