Delivery was quick and hassle free. However, while the initial shoe presented well in appearance and finish, the sole started coming away from shoe bed after only a few months. I have experienced this poor quality gluing with other ASICS models e.g. Cumulus Gel. This is a recent development in the last two years. When I asked for a refund, I was told it was because I had gotten the shoes wet. This is completely unavoidable when running on grass or any soft surface. Also sweat will also cause the shoe to get wet in dry conditions. The cushioning of the shoes was initially good but the sole did compress after a few months reducing cushioning.

Purchased the product to replace my other ASICS. Process was a simple online buy. Delivery was slick as well, here within days. My new shoes are like stepping into comfy slippers as usual. Fit is true to size, width and quality good. Purchased the Lilac colour for brightness in the winter season, love them. Whether I'm walking, cycling or a gym workout, these shoes are fab and lightweight. Price was bonus as well.

As I was in the market for shoes that provide good support for walking, running and standing, I found myself attracted to the Asics brand. The Gel Excite 9 just so happened to be my first choice and I'm extremely glad I found this shoe. Despite being heavy, my feet didn't hurt at all after going on a run which was extremely impressive. I can see myself wearing these shoes for long walks when I'm out and about, ending the day with my feet free of pain. What I noticed is that the way the shoe is designed makes walking feel natural and efficient with consistent strides. It encourages heel-striking which is great for walking too. I love these shoes so much that I'm hoping to stick with the Asics brand and perhaps this shoe for a long time.

I absolutely love these sneakers! They are THE most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I have terrible foot problems and I see a podiatrist every 4 weeks and he recommends Asic tennis shoes highly. I have one pair for work- I’m on my feet for eight hours a day- and one pair for the gym. Believe me you will not be sorry if you get this shoe. I love mine!
I found the sole's grip of these shoes to be a bit slippery on wet surfaces like footpaths and driveway when wet. But I didnt realise until it rained, you know, like two weeks after I bought them and had worn them so have not returned. Comfortable for me for indoors but wont buy ASICS with this sole again, will have to scrutinise the photos of the sole first really well, which is a shame as it shard to find shoes that fit will with my narrow foot.
I love these shoes that are super comfortable and give my feet great support. I walk 20k steps a shift at work in a hospital and these shoes are fantastically comfortable.Just one thing, the top near the toes should be a stronger material because over time my toes cause holes to appear in the top of the fabric. I think you should reinforce them from inside the shoes to prevent this.
Tried to give this shoe four and a half stars. Apparently half stars are not possible. Great shoes!!! My feet are “picky” and the only challenge with these is the slightly narrow width at the ball of the foot. A little creative lace tying and I’m good for all day on a busy vacation, including walking around National Parks. I’m planning to purchase another pair so I know I’ll have a backup if needed.

I did extensive research, and this particular shoe kept coming up as recommended by podiatrists. As soon as he wore them the first time, he was surprised at how comfortable and lightweight they are. (The mesh seems very thin and flimsy, but I think it is because we are used to always having heavy leather shoes.) He has now worn these for a few days and is extremely satisfied. We thought it just might of been that pair of shoes and so they were nice enough to send us another pair. I stopped playing basketball and they were fine. Then I got back into basketball and I got holes instantly. Really disappointing as I have always gone with Asics. I put up with the holes and after wearing them for 3 months I had big holes in both shoes and the sole had had worn away up to the rubber, the fabric in the inside is waring away also the insole of shoe had holes in them. Been buying these bc ASICS can’t seem to ever have a fashionable GT-1000 or my size in stock. I’ve almost rolled my ankle ever time I wear there’s because the sneaker is more narrow than the GT-1000. I don’t understand why a company that claims it sells out of a sneaker before it has the opportunity to hit store shelves wouldn’t boost their manufacturing on said line? Please don’t blame Covid, unfortunately I’ve been wearing GT-1000’s since mid 2000’s
