The actual toe portion of the shoe is much wider than the photo of it on line appears. My size 5 foot looks like a size 7 when I am wearing it! Though, comfortable it is not easy to put on, as the lace base is elongated and I have to loosen the laces to the second eyelets from the toe to put my foot into the shoe. Do you still make the Gel-Resolution 7? Or something like it? It was a great shoe, and I purchased many of them.

An adequate shoe for $120

This shoe is exactly what you would expect for a much cheaper netball shoe. I have used netburners for years and never been disappointed. I bought this shoe as I needed a white shoe for umpiring. They are comfortable and have a durable outer however there isn't much support or comfort in the ball of the foot if wearing for multiple games. Overall, not a bad starter sneaker especially for those that may only use it once or twice per week. If you are an avid netballer or plan on wearing more often then definitely invest in something with more gel and more support.

I bought these performance shoes a couple of weeks ago and after a few wears, I’m quite unimpressed with this product. The overall style and colours are perfect but they are very uncomfortable. The sole is hard as a rock and my foot actually goes numb from wearing them. I have purchased the correct size so that isn’t a factor. It’s the actual materials. I have worn ASICS shoes for a few years now and even when I have opted for their cheaper shoes, it has never compromised on comfort. I hope the brand rethink this design.

Extremely disappointed.
1 September 2024

I’ve been a ASICS consumer for many years. For the first time I am extremely disappointed. I still have a couple of pairs that I bought years ago and are in good condition. This pair though, started to tear one month into the use. I play 4-5 times a week, so if you play a few times a month in a beginners level, sure these might last longer for you. Otherwise, do not buy these.

Good looking, well fitting court shoes
3 January 2024

This is my 2nd pair of Gel Game 9 red shoes. I own 15 pair of various Gel court shoes for pickleball which I play 5 times a week. The fit is consistent between all the pairs thankfully. I use both indoor and outdoor court shoes and look for new colors and sale prices. I have the same shoe in white with the red logo. They all look nice, feel good and grip the floor as needed.

Great comfort and style/look BUT...
10 February 2024

Reviewing this shoe (Gel Game 9) exactly one year and fourteen days after purchase. I tried several styles of ASICS and the Gel Game 9 were by far the most comfortable fit. I use this exclusively on the court (Pickleball) and indoors (working out) Toe box was great and ankle support was spot on. However, I periodically experienced heel discomfort at the beginning of play which dissipated during play. (I don't typically get heel pain with shoes.) My negative review is prompted by the fact that approx. one week ago I noticed that my pinky toe had popped through my left shoe. Just a FEW days after the warranty window has closed. SUPER disappointed to say the least. So, comfort and stability wise, these have been a great shoe. Durability wise, not so much. I Hop To Return Them, ButThey Could Work For You..
8 June 2023

Caused intense foot pain. I wore them indoors and was excited to get them on court. Within 5 minutes of court time I started to feel foot pain. I didn't have another option so I gutted it out for the rest of my session even though the pain got worse and was continuous. I swore I would never wear them again. I love the GEL-GAME 8's and I'm trying to get as many as I can. I don't think ASICS will let me return them because I wore them on court. These feel more nimble than the 8's, but caused immense foot pain. I do not recommend them, but could see someone with different feet loving them. I generally love Asics shoes and will continue to wear them for all of my court sport needs.

No support, foot pain
5 January 2024

Do not buy these shoes, and Asics should not be selling them.Zero support.I played 2 times this week. 2 x 90 minute matches. After the first hour of wearing these I already starting having foot pain, mainly on the bottom of my foot. I have been wearing Asics tennis shoes for over 5 years with no issues, mainly Dedicate 7. I looked to upgrade when these were on sale on another tennis gear website. Big mistake.I even wear special insoles, Cadence EX-MP (look them up), and still, the inside of the shoes (sole) was like concrete. There is no give or support, even no side support. I am not surprised a few others on here have had injuries wearing this shoe. I thing they are also a little narrower than others I have worn. After my second 90 minute session I was done. I gave them a second try because I thought these needed to be broken in (although I have never had to break in Asics tennis shoes), but no, even more pain, so I am done with them. There is something fundamentally wrong with these, and Asics needs to look in to it.I can't submit a warranty claim cause I bought them at another store since I was buying other tennis gear. I always buy my shoes here on asics.com, even though the website is slow, makes me re-login all the time, and won't let me add a photo to this review. Also, the laces were too short (so I bought the correct length ones, in pink), which has been happening on all the Asics tennis shoes I have bought from them since Covid. Looks like they are trying to cut costs everywhere, and maybe that is what happened when they designed, or engineered these shoes.Do not buy.

Shoe feels fine, durability is the worst I've seen
18 September 2023

The shoe feels and plays fine as an ASICS shoe, I do really like the ASICS feel of shoes. But this model was very, very disappointing. I used them for about a month, playing maybe half as frequently as I usually do which ended up being about 3 to 4 days a week, and the sole is unusable. I tend to rip holes in the sides of shoes which I am aware of, so I did my best to preserve the side with shoe goo. On the other hand, I never rip holes in the soles of shoes, until after many months. That is why I was so surprised that the shoes were done after only one month of a light playing schedule. I contacted ASICS about a replacement but since there are no more 6-month warranties, the sole does not fall under the current warranty. I'd say even with a warranty, these shoes would be barely worth the purchase, but without it, it is not even remotely close to a worthy purchase. Ultimately, I would stay away from this model of shoe.

Short shoe laces terrible customer service
21 July 2023

I have been buying Asics tennis shoes for the last 10 years, this is the first time I had to contact customer service about a pair of their shoes and I was disappointed by their service. The shoes had very short shoe laces and it was impossible to properly tie the shoe. I contacted customer service to request they send me a new pair of shoe laces and their response was it wasn't covered by the warranty and then charged me a restocking fee to return the shoe. I decided to try some different brands and am very happy with the Adidas shoe which also has a wider toe box similar to the Asics.
