The GEL-KAYANO 14 RE sneaker is designed for fast treks in urban environments. For the upper, ASICS took inspiration from the ASICS stripes and laces of the TRABUCO 8 sneaker. Additional elements such as the tear-resistant mesh, pull tabs and speckled midsole also contribute to its functional character. The design is rounded off by the outdoor-inspired features, which include a speckled midsole. It pays homage to the tradition of performance running, but reworked with a more urban aesthetic.
