I was skeptical before purchasing these shoes because they were considerably more expensive than I’ve had in the past. It was well worth the extra money. Running in these is so much easier than my GT-2000 which have been my go-to for so many years. They’re bouncy but still really responsive and running on the road is less jarring to my knees.

I have worn gel-kayano's for many many years. This model (even after exchanging for a wide fit) seems to be narrow in the heel area causing discomfit.

Pretty much the perfect shoe for everyday. I am an aging Physio and I’m on my feet at work, so I try to replace my shoes every 4-6 months. The kayanos continue to be the safest most supportive all rounder for walking, working, running and gym. This iteration of Kayanos have a much tougher forefoot case where as the last I ended up with holes! The inner sock is joyful on tired feet. I recommend Kayanos to many of my patients with foot problems and they generally instantly improve.
My plantar fasciitis has almost gone since I started wearing these shoes, which is amazing. I'd give them 5 stars except the inside of one shoe near the back of the heel has gone a little out of shape already, despite me untying the laces each time I put them on..
As always I find this gel-Kayano shoe great for long walks , mainly pavement.
