Cool Shoes
I tried on many (like 20 or 30) different pairs of golf shoes to support my tired feet and aging golf game. Spiked and spikeless were in the cue. I really needed comfort in addition to something that would keep me upright. (Fell over last year!). The Gel Kayano were the best of the lot. I did not wear them right away, but had them on for the first time two days ago. Played the best round of the season and my feet did not suffer. Plenty of room in the toe box, stable and assistance in making a good turn on all but one shot. Felt like H. Matsuyama in the green color way. Overall, comfortable and nice looking. I play squash in Asics and pickle ball as well (shameful I know). I like them very much.... Show more

Disappointed in the quality.
Disappointed in the quality. Have used Kayano running shoes for years with no issues. Figured I'd try the new Kayano golf shoes. Very comfortable but the quality is lacking. The top back of the golf shoe, where you basically put your foot in, is worn and frayed. Never had this issue with the running shoe and I put my foot in both shoes the same way.... Show more

Kayano Ace 1 Colour Fade and Heel Worn
Pretty disappointed with the quality from ASICS on the Kayano ace 1. The grey has discoloured and heels have been worn through within 18months. I play golf once per week so you would expect these to go the mile. I reached out to ASICS and showed them which ended up back in my face because I was outside the warranty period.I’ve been running in Kayano for over ten years but now I’m moving to under armour golf shoes as a result.Wouldn’t recommend Kayano ace.... Max’ comfort and stability
I wore these shoes straight out of the box and they were immediately comfortable. They are the 1st pair of golf shoes that , after walking 18 holes, left my feet and legs feeling like it was a stroll around the block. Maximum grip , with a light weight to them which is another feature. I was sold on the running version, now sold on the Golf version as well. I highly recommend these shoes to golfers of any standard... Show more

No comfort guarantees
I got these as a gift and they seemed to fit just fine so wore them on the course and that is when the problems started. After only a few holes of walking, I started having pain on the right side of my right foot. My left foot was fine, but even after I loosened the laces my right foot was still in pain. When I called customer service, they told me that since I had worn them, there was nothing they could do. Even after I explained that it could be a manufacturing defect since only the right foot was a problem. This was my first pair of ASICS golf shoes and definitely my last.... Show more

Not all your golf shoes need to be waterproof.
I have only worn Gel-Kayano running shoes for at least a decade now and have always loved them. I was really hoping I would love these too, but one of the things I liked about the Course Glide was how breathable and cool they were. I felt like my feet were immediately in a steam room once I started playing in these. I understand that many people want waterproof/water resistant, but it’s weird that you stopped making your 1 pair of breathable shoes and replaced it with 3 styles of non-breathable shoes. You really should have kept at least 1 pair of breathable shoes.... Show more

Stiff and not good for walking the course
Stiff shoes. I bought these for walking 18 holes and I hate to admit it but they were a massive disappointment. I own Gel Kayano 30 running shoes and they are my favorite I have ever owned of any brand. I mistakenly assumed these Kayano Ace 2 would be similar. Wow was I wrong. I had to go buy soft inserts to make them tolerable. If I had not worn them I would have returned them.... Show more

The running shoe reputation crosses over!
I am on my second pair of these shoes. I am a runner and have been using the Nimbus for decades. I recently took up gold and when I found out Asics made golf shoes, it was a no brainer for me. And true to my experience, I needed no break in and the shoes fit like a glove from the get go. The comfort, durability, and performance are fantastic. It will take a drunken whim for me to ever try a different golf shoe.... Show more

Very comfortable and great support
I've had these shoes for about a month and I'm completely sold. I walk several rounds a week and these are the most comfortable shoes I have tried. I have a Morton's neuroma on my right foot and typically wear orthotics in my shoes. With these golf shoes, my feet feel great without the orthotics. They are the first spikeless golf shoes I've worn and I have noticed no loss of traction or stability versus spiked shoes.... Show more

Winner
Used to run in Gel Kayano’s including several marathons and now walk in them. They just work for me. Good stability and cushion without being too heavy and bulky. Could hardly wait for my Puma golf shoes to fall apart so I could get a part of the Kayano Ace 2 golf shoes. Better than expected and I continue to be grateful to have pulled the trigger especially since investing in a pull cart. Walking 6 miles is nothing in these great shoes. Definitely recommend and will buy again.... Show more
