I have been wearing the regular Gel Kayano since the 20th anniversary year (up to the 29 now). I was curious about the Kayano Lite so I decided to try the Lite 3. They felt wonderful right out of the box - cushioned, bouncy and comfortable with enough stability to handle my over-pronation. However, I’m a heavy runner, and after about a month the medial side midsole has started to go flatten out and the soft rubber on the outsole wore down quickly to the point that there is no grip left in the forefoot. Probably a great shoe for most people, but the regular Kayano works better for me.

If you like GEL-KAYANO 29 you will love these. They offer same stability but come in lighter. They is also recycled materials throughout upper which reduces waste and carbon emissions
Bought this for my partner. He walks almost 15 miles a week. Its light, comfortable and helps with his overpronation of his feet. Very happy with purchase
A step change from my last Kayanos (the 27). This is much more responsive - light and springy - while still providing great support and a roomy toe-box. Easy miles in these straight out of the box. A distinctive look, with a chunky FlyteFoam sole and a jacquard mesh upper. Great that they use recycled materials to reduce environmental impact.
If you love the regular Kayano (as I do) you’ll also love the Kayano Lite. They are ideal for shorter faster runs while still giving all the support and stability that you’re used to. It’s great to see that so much of the shoe is recycled as well.
Quick delivery by Asics! The trainers were perfect, as a Gel-Kayano lover I wanted to try something lighter to help improve my pace but keep the stability the Kayano offers. It took a couple of runs to properly bed in but I feel they've helped give me faster 5km pace! They're light weight and perfect for my over pronation. 10/10 would recommend.
Started running again after many years. Got ankle and achilles pains two weeks in. Ordered these shoes and had a rest until they arrived.Best decision ever. Super comfortable and no more pain.
In the past my shoe of choice has always been the GEL-KAYANO with which I have been very pleased. I gave the GEL-KAYANO LITE 3 a try and it has been great! It is a very lite, stable, and comfortable shoe that works very well with my over pronation. I have been using them for about a month now and have put some mileage on them. I will definitely be buying the GEL-KAYANO LITE 3 again and intend to make it my go to shoe for every day running.
