I really, really wanted to love this but they caused me a lot of pain. Initially putting them on, they were extremely comfortable and I liked the feel and style of them. After taking them on a test run, these might be the worst shoes I have ever put on my feet. I wanted to love these so much, but it's the worst feeling Nimbus I have ever tried. This is the tightest 4E shoe I've ever put on my foot. The "sock-like" liner is a not-so stretchy material that squeezes the entire foot. Even with the laces removed, it's still a VERY tight fit. I know it is a new shoe, but I don't know if mine was a factory defect and they sent me a D width with a 4E label, or what? Also the ankle collar is an odd design. It's like it clamps the back half of the ankle, but then there is nothing holding the front part of the ankle area. I've had other Asics that have a form fit cushion around the ankle, but this would not let my foot sit low enough to wrap around the ankle - Almost as if the measurements were for a size 9 or 10, but left the same ... I bought these shoes after being fitted at Fleet Feet in February. At first, they seemed great. Despite being on the heavier side, they were very comfortable, and felt like they had decent spring. I wore them for part of my half marathon training and for the race itself. Unfortunately, once I hit about 120 miles of wear, they started giving me blisters. It seems that the cushion in the back of the heal has worn so much that it’s left the fabric loose, which is what’s causing the blisters. I normally get at least 250 miles out of my shoes before I even think about a new pair but already had to buy replacements. I’m very disappointed in the durability. This was my first experience with ASICS running shoes and makes me very hesitant to try the brand again.

I have been a loyal “Kayano” girl since I was in primary school. I am now a Registered Nurse on a very busy medical ward and spend roughly 12hrs/day on my feet. When the time came to upgrade the my then, kayanos (I wear the grip down to the foam every 3-4months from racking up my 9-10km at work alone. Anyway, I have commitment issues and struggle to make decisions (especially good ones) so I decided to purchase both Kayano and nimbus (JUST in case), and my Kayanos are still in their box and I’m already looking to get another pair of the nimbus😂Yes I am a female, who purchased the black/green MENS shoe in the correlating female size but girls gotta eat.ASICS need to lift their game with the bland and boring colour options for females currently. Overall, I am a complete convert to ASICS! 55 yo marathon runner who just ran her 18th marathon at Disney World (Dopey Challenge) in the Nimbus 25 after wearing Hokas for years. ASICS Nimbus are the superior shoe. They are not clunky at all and I feel faster when I run in them. I al also a physician and I wear them for overnight shifts. My feet feel fantastic in this shoes. The Nimbus-26 are an improvement from the Nimbus-25. Same amazing support without the pillowy, slightly bouncy feel of the Nimbus-25. The 26’s are incredibly comfortable and I feel even faster in them without sacrificing the comfort of a more supportive shoe. Did a 15 miler along Boston’s Heartbreak Hills two days ago in the Nimbus-26. PHENOMENAL SHOE! Will be ordering another pair as soon as I ... Plenty of room across my metatarsals without looking bullky. In summary I highly recommend the ASICS Nimbus 26 for distance runners and for all healthcare workers who work long shifts. You won’t think about your feet at all! They are truly amazing and a substantial improvement from the 25! Thank you ASICS!!!.

The first pair I purchased was from Fleet feet they sized them a size too big as they didn’t have the size I needed in a wide and I was told that was normal protocol after a couple days of wearing them they let my foot slide too much and wore blisters so they happily returned them no questions asked but I must say other than that they were the most comfortable shoes I ever put on my feet. I then went to an ASICS store and was told I would have to order the wides on line which meant I couldn’t try them on first but that if there was an issue after wearing them for a few days I could return them online. The upper mesh and knit tongue are an absolute highlight of this shoe, and I am very glad they kept using this feature; it provides comfort whilst still allowing breathability.The addition of rubber to the outsole seems to be adding durability and grip, with a very minimal weight gain. The most noticeable change is that the bottom of the lace throat loses the “W” shape and is now a “V,” the lacing system gets more built up with wider straps over the arch. I find this extremely helpful as my ankles tend to become unstable after a few hours of running, so this new, simple feature has been welcomed. The most significant changes are the firmer midsole, helping them become considerably more responsive than the Nimbus 25, but also keeping a very similar soft feeling.Apart from those improvements, overall, it’s a very similar shoe from the Gel-Nimbus 25, and if you enjoyed the previous model, you will certainly enjoy this one. It feels good to run in and it’s a much firmer shoe and up there as one of my top pics for longer runs.

I had another pair of Gel-Nimbus years ago and, for that shoe iteration, I thought that there can't be something worse on the market.However, when I tried the Gel-Nimbus 26 everything changed. You feel like you're flying in this running shoes. The comfort is great, the cusion is great, also the upper feels good.The only disadvantages that I see are:1. The upper that is very comfortable but a lilttle bit too thick. In the summer days your feet get overheated.2. The weight.
