Asics Gel-Pulse 14 M Running Shoes 1011B491-005 Black

I am a loyal asics running shoe user and would expect better notice of details of products. I have also noted examples in running shorts where a liner was said to be in product where it was not, or not as described.

Comfortable and affordable

These were immediately very comfortable, I have worn them for half marathon training with no rubbing whatsoever. The size has come out quite long compared to what I am used to. As with previous Asics the top fabric is quite thin so I'm worried I might see my toes through the top after a while. But so far so good at a decent price.

Defect in.shoe

I live asics shoes, its all i have ever ran and competed in. However thus pairnhad a flaw. On the inside material where 2 sections met, there was a knot. A stitching or internal bump that rubbed my ankle , leaving me with blisters . Upon emailin the company, they suggested i take them to a asics store. That store is 2 hours away fro. My house!!!! I purchased these online , im not driving 4 hours round trip for your mistake. I will definitely think lomg and hard before buying another pair .

GEL-PULSE 14

I was a loyal use of the Asics GT Xuberance Men's Line for a period of 3 years. I have ankle issues and these shoes were a godsent for me. Unfortunately , The Gel Pulse couldn't be a like for like replacement. They have good cushioning. But they don't hold my feet in place very well as the sole is quiet slippery. I have tried at least 4-5 brands of socks and none seem to grip. So , my search for a replacement for the Asics GT Xuberance Mens goes on. Good shoe, But not a Star. Will work for Most people.

Gel pulse 14 review

The shoe is wears a little bigger than what I'm accustomed to with Asics. It's a little stiffer around the heel and arch area compared to other styles I've worn. It's comfortable enough, but not pillowy comfort. Don't know the durability of the shoe since I just started wearing it this past week, so can't say if I would purchase this pair again in the future.

Good casual shoe

Good knock-around shoe. Adequate cushioning in the heel. Could use more cushioning in the ball of the foot area. My knees finally shut down my training regimen due to multiple surgeries So nowadays walking stability and cushioning are a priority. My last ASICS training shoe was was the GEL Cumulus with high cushioning, lateral stability, and a well-padded tongue. The Gel Pulse is good as a casual knock-around or gym floor shoe. That's what I bought it for and it does the job admirably.

Perfect all round trainer

I tried many shoes before deciding on this one. Including much more expensive trainers. I have used ASICS shoes since first wearing them in the early 1970’s. My early ASICS trainers or Tigers as we called them then, we’re just the job for racing. These Gel-Pulse shoes are great being compact, lightweight and relatively inexpensive. Good all round shoe for training, racing and gym work. Maintaining the standard for ASICS. Recommended

these shoes supplied me with the support i needed. I did my first 1/2 marathon a week ago at the Christy Clinic Marathon. . I'm unable to run do to a car wreck. But i can walk without problems. Well i did the race in 3hrs 20min. My feet felt great. The rest will that's another story. for my age group 65-69 I came in second from last. I would recommend these shoes.
