Cushion sole defeats purpose
Whatever extra cushion sole they use in these defeats the purpose , constantly feels like there is something underneath the sole . Bought the venture 7s at the same time and they are way more comfortable despite being half the price. I’ve bought asics in the past and have never had this problem... Show more

Didn’t work for me
I worn these for work (office) and absolutely loved them. However, I walk 6 miles a day and wear a few brands and never had an issue. I decided to try these for the walk and it rubbed skin off the tulip of center toe - badly. The shoe fits like the others - not too big or small - perfect fit, yet this was the result. Love the shoe but it didn’t perform when I needed it to. Not all brands or models work for everyone, this one didn’t for me. If I needed just for work or casual wearing - awesome.... Show more

Great gym or everyday shoes.
Way better than Nike of comparable cost. Comfort Wise I would compare these to my 2013 Airmax. Great shoes! Shop Asics before Nike.... Show more

Great Shoe
Very comfortable right from the start. The fit width of the shoe runs a little narrow in medium so your foot is not slipping around in the shoe. I give this high marks in fit and good looks.... Show more

Great shoes!
I have been a fan of Asics sneakers for over 30 years, quite them in high school for track and cross country. This is one of the most comfortable pair I've ever had. I don't run anymore but I am in my feet all day on concrete and these are great. As always Asics is high quality also.... Show more

Love these
I bought the Oyster Grey model for lifestyle/light gym use. I am in love with the color and the fit of the shoe. Pretty low profile, colors are great, the quality is great, and I am very happy with the purchase. I actually came back to buy the Black/Glow model and figured I'd write a review which I typically don't do. Saw there was only one review at three stars and I definitely think these shoes deserve a higher rating.... Show more

Most comfortable walking shoes
They are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever owned! I just wore them on a trip to Europe which involved a fair amount of walking on cobblestones up and down hills. They were amazing!... Show more

Not For Doing Anything Athletic
I’ve worn ASICS shoes for a long time and I’ve worn the Quantum-360 but this is my first, and definitely last time wearing the Quantum-180. I wear these for officiating basketball games for context. First off they have a very narrow toe box and really pinch. The lacing system and heel cup doesn’t work well either. If you lace all the way into the extra eyelet they uncomfortably squeeze the top of your foot and there is barely enough lace to sufficiently tie them and I don’t even have tall feet. The absolute worst part of these shoes is the cushioning or lack there of. It feels like there is little to no cushioning with them. I’ve never gotten shin splints before but after the first game where I wore these I had the worst shin splints of my life. I thought maybe they ... I’ve never gotten shin splints before but after the first game where I wore these I had the worst shin splints of my life. I thought maybe they needed to be broken in more so I wore them around the house for several hours running/walking on my treadmill. Tried them at the next game and same result shin splint city! I would love to return them but we all know ASICS is terrible about accepting returns so they’ll sit in my closet in the box. I quickly bought some Adidas Boost shoes to replace them, officiated 4 games in them and no issues with shin splints at all.... Show more

Supportive shoe, but lacing is a problem.
Comfortable shoe with good support. Laces run too high, though. The top lace ends up well above your foot, so it's almost like lacing up a mid-top tennis shoe. And if you don't lace it tight enough, you feel like you're slipping out of it. But, I also don't like a tightly laced shoe, so it's a fine line getting these laced tight, but not too tight....
