I bought these trainers about six months ago. I like how they look and the materials seem to be good quality. They feel comfortable on the feet: the toe box has decent space. However, whenever I wear them I get sore lower legs and arches. I think it could be because the trainers have an extreme heel drop. My podiatrist thinks it could be because the heel of these shoes is very bouncy. This feature would be suitable for running, but when walking (the intended use of these shoes) the lower legs have to work hard to control the bounce.

I have been a devoted Asics fan for over 15 years now. I probably have purchased a minimum of 2 pair per year. These are the first pair I have ever been disappointed with. They are sized differently with a larger than normal toe bed & a bit longer than others (at least for size 10 1/2. However, more importantly they are simply not comfortable to wear more than a couple of hours. Unfortunately, I wore them outside before realizing how uncomfortable they are so likely cannot return them. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

I usually order the Gel Quantum 180 5. I loved the version. It fit me perfectly.I thought I'd chance these. They are a newer version.My foot is already narrow. The front of the shoe rubbed the outer edge of my foot. I only wore them for 5 hours at the gym. I ended up having to take them off due to the constant rub on my pinky toe. This also were rubbing on my ankle. I should have trusted the reviews I read as I just spent $145.00 on them. Ugh. What a let down!

I have several pairs of ASICS trainers and honestly wasnt looking for anymore but then I had an email about the ASICS private members sale and these trainers were a great price. They arrived within a few days and I am really happy with not only the quality but also the fit and feel. Love the colour and they feel like slippers on. Definitely recommend them.
I've had these shoes for about a week and I am in love. It's comfortable, durable and looks great. Really would recommend to anyone who needs shoes for training, running or light sport. Trust me, it's worth the money. I've tried lots of other brands but ASICS has got to to be the best. Overall amazing shoe, great style and comfort.
Shoe is very narrow at the toe box and there is no noticeable “gel cushion”. Feels very stiff compared to other shoes like Adidas boost. I gave them a small test run indoors in my home and they hurt my feet on my heel and toes. Customer service is horrible. Would not recommend for people that like to jog or run. Sadly they won’t let me exchange or return even tho they haven’t been worn outdoors. Waste of money.
I started getting hip pain the day after doing any high impact exercises, this then developed into pain during exercise and then constant pain getting worse and worse over a few months. I stopped running and doing any high impact of jumping exercises which reduced the pain but it was still there. I had bought these quantums purely for running in but had barely worn them. My usual training shoes were dirty so i started wearing the quantums on a daily basis for training and dog walking etc and within a week my hip pain had reduced by 85%! I straight away threw out my old shoes and ordered another pair online. 3 weeks in and my hip pain has almost disappeared!
I’ve previously bought asics similar to this style and loved them! I usually find that they are the only shoe I can train in due to having a previous injury. I bought this pair in August and now they have holes in both of the shoes. I do wear them around 6 days a week however I thought they should last longer than 6 months. I’m really disappointed as they aren’t cheap.
Love ASCIS trainers. Each step comfort when either running or walking makes me feel the right choice has been made again. Once,i moved away from ASCIS. Never will again. These runners are very comfortable and the stability around the heel is snug. Taking away any fear of an achillies injury. The wiggle room around the toes is perfect. So all in all a greatly made trainer. Thanks ASCIS.
I put these shoes on for 5 minutes and they hurt my feet. I have worn nothing but Asics shoes for at least the past ten years so I didn't expect the sizing to be off. They are really small. I attempted to exchange them since I bought two pair on sale and didn't want to lose the sale price, however I would have to take them to a store to exchange, which doesn't exist near me. So I now have to return these shoes and pay a restocking fee and not receive the same discount if I were to repurchase a different size. Today I will no longer be shopping at Asics due to their terrible return policy.
