I found these to be comfortable and importantly, they have an excellent grip. Great trail shoes and long lasting. They came up small, and I needed a whole size up. I don't particularly like the design and would have preferred these in lighter colours, but not many options around for womens trail shoes.

I have been buying ASICS running shoes for many years and have never had a problem. The Fel-Sonoma 7 has not disappointed in the least. Comfortable trail running shoes that do the job just fine.

I have been buying ASICS running shoes for many years and have never had a problem. The Fel-Sonoma 7 has not disappointed in the least. Comfortable trail running shoes that do the job just fine.
Awesome shoes. Feels amazing right away, I went on a hike about the first thing I did with them and got no blisters. Waterproof to say the least and awesome to use for mountain biking as well.
Perfect grip, comfort and were fantastic to hit the trails, both dirt and rock.I've worm Kayanos for years, I was a little concerned about a 'cheap' show, but these are great for the occasional wear...
The trail style is great as the sole is very durable. Compared to ASICS runners, the instep doesn’t have arch support - it’s quite flat - so not compatible with running for my foot type. Is visually a great looking shoe.
Definitely the most comfortable of the GTX running/trail shows I’ve tried on. Would say best cushioning and still has reasonable grippy sole for trail and running on grass with dog! Tend to need the GTX for morning runs when there is dew on the grass and the ground is still damp or wet, so this is a good investment shoe for those wetter days!
Love these shoes! Waterproof and just a great all round shoe. Please keep making it, especially the all black. Don’t t change colour.
First time buying this style. Quite stiff near the ankles, but I’m still wearing them in. They feel supportive when trail running and I love that they can go from the trail to the road. Happy with them so far while training for a 1/2 marathon.
This is my fourthpair of Asics gel sonoma.I find they are supportive and I can wear them straight away without any rubbing.The toe box is medium I would say and I used to go up a half size but these latest ones are spot on true to size.I am a walker not a runner and these are just right for me to have an amble in the country or hours of sightseeing!
I wanted something a bit more durable than my previous ASICS and was advised that the GEL-SONOMA 7 would fit the bill. After the last 5 pairs I knew my size and placed the order. Delivery was extremely quick and when I first wore them I was extremely happy with my purchase.However, unlike my previous ASICS after about 5km of walking I began to get pains in my heel and on the top of my foot. I am normally able to walk 10km without a problem but these have caused blisters which I have not had with ASICS before.I will look to break the shoes in slowly to see if this makes a difference but so far I would have to say that this product is not up to the standard I expect.
