Its been 30 years since I've worn trainers and decided to give these a try.I was surprised they fitted me well. My heel fits well and theres a gripped feeling. The arch isn't too big and theres enough width in the toe box for my wide feet.I'm still getting used to how they feel on the soles of my feet as I'm used to hard soled walking shoes.Overall I'm happy with these trainers and will be trying another kind

An excellent all weather training shoe. Superbly comfortable straight out of the box. I always buy ASICS trainers. They fit me perfectly every time. Great shock absorption, good traction from the outsole and of course these are waterproof too. A brilliant trainer at this price point. Thanks ASICS.Highly recommended.

Asics Customer service was outstanding. The product not so much. I bought a pair of these trainers in May, they disintegrated in just 12 weeks. customer service was ace and replaced the trainers for exactly the same size. however the new trainers are the most uncomfortable trainers i have ever had. like an idiot it took me 2 days wear to make that decision. so not going to bother them again. In short Customer service, great. ill find a different brand going forward.

This is my third pair of Asics and I can recommend these to anyone needing a light, waterproof, trail shoe. The sizing and fit are perfect, the same size I always have in Gortex ie 1.5 sizes larger than my normal shoe size. Width is normal. They feel sturdy despite being light and are well cushioned. I bought them for walking tracks and trails as well as some road walking.
I bought this a couple days ago to replace my 7yr old asics and am not loving them at all. First, the sole is so still and so hard that I sound like a horse clip-clopping my way down the road. Second, the footbed has ZERO cushion. There is more cushion in my old, worn out shoes than there is in these brand new ones. I thought maybe they'd loosen up as I broke them in, but this has not been the case. I love the look of them! The toe box is very roomy, which is great for wider feet. I was afraid the fact that they are waterproof would make my feet sweat, but they are suprisingly breathable! Too bad they are uncomfortable.
I bought these shoes because I do a lot of walking and sometimes it’s raining. So far the shoes have kept my feet dry. But they’re very hard on my feet, especially when I’m walking 3 to 5 miles at a time. They’re supposed to be a trail running shoe. I can’t imagine anyone running in these shoes. Your feet would be beat to death. I think the souls will last a fair amount of time. Overall, I find that any product coming out of Vietnam is inferior in quality. I’m sorry just got to say it. I wish it were different. also I think ASICS needs to review their return policy. How can you really wear a shoe , test a shoe without wearing it. And that’s basically what you have to do if you wanna return something it can’t be worn.
I was gifted the black and lime pair and was excited for a waterproof sneaker. Perhaps they are only good on trails/earthy surface only. On regular sidewalk and entering exiting buildings the bottoms are too slick. I have fully wiped out/fallen off my feet in painful and embarrassing falls. Size and comfort were otherwise good, but I can not keep these shoes.
I have polyneuropathy and stopped running due to fatigue and muscle pain two years ago. A physical therapist I worked with helped me develop an exercise program including walking/jogging convinced I could improve and reduce symptoms. I walk/jog on a sandy desert path/trail that can be rocky and uneven. This shoe (thus far) has made a significant difference. My balance, comfort, and grip on the trail is much, much better and I am encouraged.
Perfect! I usually only buy shoes in stores, because I'm worried that there will be some problem with them, they will be too small or too big, they will squeeze or break my heels and fingers if I don't try them on before buying. However, I found either no Asics shoes at all or only a very small selection in the surrounding shops. Unfortunately, I didn't like what there were either. Either they were too colourful, or the soles extended too far back at the heel, etc... Finally, I found three pairs, which I really liked on the Asics web shop, so I ordered one pair of them. When they arrived and I tried them on, it was like Cinderella's glass shoes in the fairy tale. They were fantastic comfortable, so I ordered the other two pairs as well. I love them!
ASICS are the only running shoes I go for these days, as they are the only ones that seem to last more than a couple of months before falling to bits! I used the very helpful Shoe Finder guide on the ASICS website in order to help choose which pair would best suit me, and it was the GEL-Venture 9, although I opted for the waterproof version at a little more cost, because no one likes soggy socks!After only 3 significant runs, I have to say that they are very good, particularly off-road. They can be a little hard on the feet if you have to do a bit of tarmac, and the toes could be a little more spacious. Overall, I am very pleased with them.
