unmatched. I switched to ASICS a few years back and still have my original pair from 3 years ago which perform really well. The new pair are perfect - I’m wearing them right

Best shoe's. These are the only shoes my mum can wear as she has severe arthritis and metal plates in her feet. Her orthopaedic surgeon told her about 15 years ago to get asics trainers with duomax and she has only worn asics since. Its getting harder to find versions with duomax unfortunately, so the gt-1000 is great to stock up on as the price is great and the colour is nice and simple. She is currently wearing her 6th pair of these shoes and it eases her foot pain so much. I have just ordered 2 more so she has a stock of them!

I’ve only worn these twice and my feet have gotten numb both times after only an hour into walking in them. Also, either they run really small or my foot became huge overnight. I’ve always been a 7 1/2 and I ordered an eight and that didn’t even fit. I had to order an 8 1/2 and it felt fine at first but as I wore them they felt pretty lose around the top part of the foot. I thought this was odd because although my feet are wide the shoes are wide width. The sizing just feels so incredibly off. Pretty disappointed. Would not recommend.

Amazing shoe as you would expect with ASICS. Fantastically engineered, amazing support, description is characteristic of the shoe and all at a very affordable price. However, with this said, their service is very poor. Delivery took almost 11 days, which in my opinion is an extortionate amount of time to wait in the modern day. Also, their returns policy is quite complex; you can’t exchange the good, you can only return it and you can’t return the good to a local ASICS store. I’d recommend buying in your local shop if you can.

Hurts Your Feet

Very disappointed with this shoes. Brought for overpronation with which I had had never any discomfort except for this pair of shoes. It began hurting my ankles and making them sore after walking or running for a very short distance. It doesn't make sense with the outer heel part of the sole softer than the inner part, which make your pronation worse and worse. I should have given them minus ratings if there were possible. Never buy ASICS again. You're done!

I bought these as a back-up pair and I'm so happy that I did. The shoes were offered at a great price so I thought that I would try them out. My initial experience left me feeling a little unsure. I decided to try them out just walking around my house in the event that I had to return them. The sole was a different design and was nothing like I had ever felt before. They almost seemed as if there was a little "rod" right at the ball of my foot when I stepped. After wearing them for a short while, I was satisfied enough to commit them to my full 5 mile walk. They were wonderful! The shoes provided support, cushion, and excellent traction. I am very satisfied with these shoes.

The good - Cushioning is a great mix of firm/soft The forefoot cushioning is soft. The heel is more firm and works great to support the ankle on uneven terrain. I ran a half marathon no problem. They feel the same after mile one as they do after mile 13.The bad - It takes a couple runs to get used to the stability if you are used to neutral shoes. The middle does lose some of its flexibility in cold temperatures.The ugly - I don't think there is anything to say here. Overall, these are a great shoe that brought me back to the Asics brand.

I am therefore disappointed to report that my recent interaction with the online shop was very unsatisfactory. I was looking to replace a pair of Gel-Noosa Tri 8's. I noticed that the GT-1000 10's were in the sale and looked to offer the appropriate sole support of my incredible Gel-Noosa's. My size was available and so I secured the sale price and ordered straight away. All was looking good and the customer support confirmed my purchase. I am not a person who believes that large company's are merely motivated purely by self-interest rather than acting for honourable reasons. But it does look like, on this occasion, I might have been taken for a ride. My near successful purchase might encourage me to now buy the same shoes at the full price. It is with regret that I did not and am pursuing further advise for alternative shoes. Sorry Asics. Disappointing.

I’ve been looking for an overpronation shoe for quite a while now. I chose ASICS over Brookesz, Adidas and Nike, based on my previous experience with all of them. Nike was for fashion, Adidas was experimental and trying to find its identity and Brookes was hardcore and had the worst customer service. Same applies to their shoes.So I thought I’ll give ASICS a go. And thank god I have. The shoe is roomy enough to accommodate my flat UK size 12.5 foot (sometimes 13 depending on the type of shoe), it provides the arch and back heel support without being intrusive, and has helped me quadruple my step count. Walking around town and in local parks is a breeze.One little nag that I have, is that on the outer sole, which is supposed to be all white, there are random drops ...
