Known for its reliability, the Asics GT-1000 13 returns better than ever before. Reimagined with a PureGEL rearfoot for protected landings, and a Flytefoam midsole for lightweight comfort in every step, the Asics GT-1000 13 is the perfect training partner for beginner to intermediate runners. For additional durability, Asics utilises AHARPLUS in high wear areas, with a lower density rubber in the rest of the outsole to keep the overall weight of the shoe down.

I've always had good luck with ASIC shoes. Build quality, comfort, sizing, roominess have all been very good with ASICs. Some brands there are problems with sizing a bit too small, or cramped toe space. I do not have these problems with ASICs. The GT-1000 13 i very comfortable and supportive. Also I appreciate the ASIC styles now to. Becoming much more colorful.

I found this series of asics GT 1000’s a slightly larger fit than previous versions. I’m usually a 9.5 and have worn a 10 in past years but I’m definitely a 9 in these. Otherwise a great solid training shoe from Asics, who are for me the go-to for running shoes still. Great soles as always, with a decent amount of grip right across the front of the shoe. Plus super-lightweight.

I purchased these on 6/15/2023 as a gift for a family member’s birthday. Fast forward one year and I asked him if he wanted a new pair of ASICS. He responded by sending me two photos where his sneakers have holes in them. I contacted ASICS by filling out a warranty form on 6/17/2024 and sent the photos of the shoes with holes. I asked if they were covered by warranty if they could give me a discount since they should not have holes in the fabric and they responded by saying the warranty is only good for 1 year since the date of purchase and I purchased them one year and two days before. I called and tried to clarify that I understood if the warranty expired from the date of receiving them, but couldn’t understand warranty started on the date of purchase. I also again asked if I could purchase another pair as a gift but with a discount, i.e., a certain percentage off. I was told again, very coldly, that the warranty was two days past coverage and they will not give me a discount. They were rude and unhelpful and I will not purchase another pair of these defective shoes!

I am size 9 2E,wide feet women. Always find it difficult to get my correct shoe size in womens sections. Thanks to Athlete's foot for designing such a comfortable shoes for feet like mine. This is very comfortable, classy, with nice arch support, very light weight. You can wear this shoes through out your busy day. Walk ,run, jump do whatever you like....enjoy your purchase just like me.
I bought these Asics for my husband who runs 5 times a week and therefore appreciates a good quality pair of running shoes. As he runs a lot, he has many running shoes for all terrains, and he needed a new pair for the road. As he is a keen parkrunner and has a need for speed these were perfect. What is great about them is they are comfortable from the get go and he has issued no complaints from his mouth! His parkrun times are speedy too!We have always found Asics to be hard wearing and great for the feet.
I have 2 pairs of GT-2000 v12 which are fantastic...but I needed more breathability walking 15 miles a week in 80-90 degree temperature. I'm 285, 5'10" wear a 9.5 4E and mild pronation to neutral. I've been walking the GT-1000 v13 for a week or so (ordered right after they became available) and they are spot on, I consider it a summer version of the GT-2000...and for walking only, I think I prefer the GT-1000.GT-1000 are highly breathable, just right amount of support, stable and good cushioning. I find them perfect for walking pavement in hot weather and required zero break-in. At my size, if I was running, I'd probably want the added support the materials (and that glorious heel) of the GT-2000 bring but I could see lighter runners having option to run in either ... MoreI have 2 pairs of GT-2000 v12 which are fantastic...but I needed more breathability walking 15 miles a week in 80-90 degree temperature. THANK YOU.
I've been wearing "Dad" shoes for the last 25 years and recently, decided to make a change. I was wearing shoes like Nike Air Monarch IV's, New Balance 608's, etc. Standard Issue "Dad" shoes. So, I went to Academy and tried on a pair of ASIC GT-1000 13 Extra Wide shoes and fell in love with them. The only problem was that Academy had a very small selection of colors in Extra Wide shoes, so I ordered a pair online. After wearing them for one day, I was hooked. My first impression of the GT-1000 13 Extra Wide is as follows. First, when I took them out of the box, I noticed that they were perfect. I mean perfect. I didn't see any loose for frayed threads on the shoe or any areas where the stitching was anything other than perfect. I didn't see any loose for frayed threads on the shoe or any areas where the stitching was anything other than perfect. Also, the shoe lace length was perfect. No more stepping on a long shoe lace and your shoe coming untied. I also loved the way they breathed. I live in Texas and 100 degree heat is the norm during the summer. My feet don't get hot in these shoes. I can wear these shoes all day and my feet don't get hot and sweaty. But the most important feature of this shoe to me was the comfort. It's like walking on a pillow of air. I can walk long distances in these shoes and not get tired like I did wearing "Dad" shoes. Also, the toe box in perfect. Wide, but not too wide. To me, these are the perfect shoe and I would encourage anyone to try and buy a pair. You won't be disappointed. I also bought the ASIC Quick Lite Plus socks. They are ultra thin, breath well and really compliment these shoes. To summarize, after I bought and tried this shoe, I then ordered 3 more pairs of shoes from the ASICS website. I'm hooked.
I was looking for a shoe to replace my Brooks Dyad 4E which have been discontinued.I need rearfoot stability, but not the usual Pronation control. These shoes are not too high, and not too soft, so they looked to be the right mix.And the shoe needed to be wide enough to stop me getting bursitis.I have only done one run, but it was 21km with no ill effects. Perfect!
I’m an ER nurse and have loved ASICS for the past 6 years. However, this is the first show from them that I’ve been severely disappointed in. My feet were near throbbing at the end of my shifts right after the shoes were less than 2 weeks brand new. Nothing like any other model I’ve purchased that lasted me 9 months to 12 months.I actually ended up returning them. But I give a 2 star rating because the incredible customer service.
I've been wearing GT-2000 shoes for years now, always loved them and the support they provide for my gait. But the most recent versions (12 and 13) seem to have massively reduced the tread and level of grip when street running in wet conditions, presumably to make them lighter. I've nearly slipped several times recently, and even had a full on head-over-heels incident on some smooth tarmac which was very painful. Please ASICS - can you address this issue - the loss of grip means I can't run as confidently in these shoes as I used to, and will have to look for an alternative.
