AMAZING <3!!

Oh my gosh! I’m in love! So comfortable. Feels super springy and supportive, whilst also being light. Only been on 2 short distance runs in them to see how I felt about them, and then ran 24km in them today. SO COMFY!! An absolutely incredible trainer. Perfect for flat surfaces and long distances.

Asics shoes are always a winner for me.

I'm a former runner (I walk now because I'm a geezer) but fell in love with Asics when I bought my first pair of Asics Gel Lytes. I've been hooked ever since. I go back and forth between models, but usually purchase shoes with maximum stability. I've purchased the Gel 2000 many times and usually go back and forth between the Gel 2000 and the Gel Kayano. Honestly, at this point between the two, my choice is usually based on color because I know I'll always be happy with the fit and the wear. I walk dogs at a local rescue, so I choose colors that will draw attention to the sweet dogs I'm walking and help get them adopted!

This baby is my favourite shoe from Asics. Having ”strange” feet, this is the only model I can buy from the shelf, put on and directly do a marathon. It keeps its promises and never lets you down. I experienced the GT2000-10 a bit softer than it’s predecessors, but I can gladily say that the 11 is back to being the stable foundation in my running week.

Go down a half size
2 April 2023

Was disappointed and worried when the gt2000 10s were discontinued as I loved that shoe! Bought the 11s to try them, getting the same size as my 10s and found they were too big and slipping on me, even with a lace lock. Swopped them for a half size smaller and they seem to fit better. Used them on runs up to 13k (but not my long runs yet) and I think they're ok so far.Overall a fee negative are emerging but I'd still buy them as they'rePOSITIVES: seem lighter than 10s (not sure if they are but they feel it.)Seem to have good enough supportComfortable enough ride in themGood cushioning. No major pain running in them - some minor aches and redness on legs/heels that I can't work out if it's the shoes or something else. Once sized down, decent enough fit. ... MoreWas disappointed and worried when the gt2000 10s were discontinued as I loved that shoe! Good wide toe box which I needCons: sizing of the shoe has changed.Feel there's less grip and my foot can slip on the ground a bit in rainy weather or running over manhole covers, I don't feel completely secure running on certain surfaces wearing themSome aches in legs after running in them but this may have been due to other contributing factorsModification has been made to the tongue/lacing which takes a while to get used to and may not suit everyone

Great road shoes for stability and comfort
14 March 2023

This is my first time in Asics. I was having trouble with bruised toes in my previous road shoes and couldn't quite get a decent fit. These have been an instant hit. Plenty of room for my toes and comfortable from the get go on the road. I bought the size recommended via the website's shoe finder and really happy with my purchase. Felt pretty confident to try these because of the option to give them a trial by joining OneAsics

Great, comfy shoes
19 April 2023

I run every day about 12km and started to use Asics, coming from GT 1000 9, changing to GT 2000 10, and now the 11, I have nothing bad to say about these shoes.Comfy, well cushioned, stable. I can squeeze out about 8-900km from one pair of shoes and only retire them sadly because I have almost no sole left. The structure still holds, still cushioned and looks quite ok. Worn, but not teared apart.Only issue is the price, as need a new pair in every 3 month :(

Outstanding replacement for Kayano 27
10 May 2023

Have been so disappointed in change to Kayanos. Simony put they have changed the design. Now wider and no longer fit my foot. Beyond frustrated I went to the ASICS store in London and was advised to buy the GT which is apparently most similar to Kayano 27 and before. Ecstatic. Very happy with them. Relieved to find an alternative. ASICS. Why change what was working perfectly well?

Really great and stable road running shoe!
17 May 2023

I have been running in ASICS GT 2000 the last 5 years, and I love this version even more. It is supportive, stable, bouncy and helps me with my overpronation. I also really enjoy walking in GT-2000 11. In addition, I have a Gore-Tex version of this shoe, for my snowy and rainy winter runs. True to size!

The ONLY quality narrow running shoe on the market
16 November 2021

Please continue making narrow sizes. I loved 5 years of Gel Nimbus until you quit making narrow sizes in that style, then switched to Gel Cumulus, but only enjoyed those for one year until you stopped making narrow sizes in that style. So now I'm down to the Gel-Kayano (and GT 2000 I think). The Gel Kayano fits my narrow feet just right. I've tried 2 different competitors' narrow styles and they do not have the comfort of the Asics running shoes. They also aren't really narrow - it seems like they put a narrow upper on a medium base, which makes me feel like I'm wearing clown shoes when I run. And because I have to lace them up so tightly to get them to fit, the laces are way too long and have to be triple knotted.I would be willing to pay more for narrow sizes or ... MorePlease continue making narrow sizes. It is so hard to find great running shoes when your feet are narrow, so please don't ever stop making them!

The worst GT -2000 11
10 June 2023

I have used this style over six years and have to change the shoes every 7-8 months as I run four times a week. The last style of GT 2000 11 I bought in Feb 23 had given me tailbone pain. The pain disappeared as soon as I stopped running for a week. I got a refund for the shoes and was told it was a faulty shoes. Nevertheless is it faulty shoes or faulty design? As I understand the design has been changed to meet the requirement for being a lighter style of shoes and in the process the support part of the design was removed. If this is really the case, the Company should really think what they like to achieve.. as a wrong design can cause problems for runners!
