It's everything you'd expect from Asics. Well built, comfortable, looks great. The color contrast between the white and beige is a bit more noticeable in person than it looks online.My only issue with the shoe is that it runs small and narrow. The narrowness may simply be because I haven't broken in the leather yet, but the length surprised me. I usually wear size 11 shoes and decided to size up to 11.5 to give myself some extra wiggle room. Even then, in some positions my toes still touch the end of the shoe. Again, this might become less of an issue as the padding in the heel compresses to my feet, but definitely size up on these, at least on the higher end of the sizing scale.

I was not expecting the insoles to be so cushiony when I ordered these, but I was very pleasantly surprised. These will be perfect for long shifts at work when I have to spend all day on my feet. These seem very well made. There are no loose threads or imperfections on either shoe, which is better than I can say for other more expensive shoes I’ve tried before. Also, the sage green color is super cute!

I purchased these Japan S trainers from the Asics website. I'm registered blind with extremely limited sight in one eye. Firstly i found the website manageable ona 65 inch screenvand using adaptive technology. The website is very user friendly comoared to so many others. As far as the trainers are concerned, i already had two pairs of Japan S. I have a very extensive range of high end trainers across many brands. The Japan S trainers are currently my favourite brand and style. They are a stunning classic design than goes well with many wardrobe items. They are comfortable beyond what i expected them to be. These are now one of 5 different Japan S colour combos I own and im extremely happy with them all. Bought these as a second gift for my husband as more of a stylish trainer he could wear going out on holidays as I'd already bought him the Gel Pulse 14 as his everyday pair. The Japan's give him that unique ASICS comfort and fit that he loves along with a sleek and stylish look that he wanted. Again he didn't have to break them in as they were the perfect size and fit as always with ASICS. He has the most awkward feet when it comes to buying shoes and ASICS is always his go to for trainers as they never let him down.
The quality of the shoes is poor. I have an old shoes which I purchased 1 year ago and the quality was much better. The current shoes’ material substitute is cheap, even laces are of low and cheap quality. My feet suffer and I get allergy when the materials don’t let air in, and this what happened to me this time with a new pair of shoes which I wore only around 1 hour. I would prefer to pay more for good quality.
I love the look, I think they're super cute. But after wearing them all day the side of my right foot really hurts. I got a 8.5 which I always wear and they seem to fit, but I guess they're too narrow/stiff. I figured this would go away after some breaking in, but it's been a week and no such luck yet. Will they ever break in? We'll see. I'll keep trying a little longer, but I wouldn't buy them again or recommend them to a friend.
