This is my first carbon running shoe. I bought these on the recommendation of my nephew and a colleague. The shoe is quite light. I really notice the carbon when I am running at speed. My first few steps took a bit to get used to the spring and forward loft. I quickly got accustomed to it. I have a few races coming up in the next few months. I will be wearing these for racing and on an occasional training run just to break them in. So far, so good.

These magic speed 3 are my latest pair of speed running shoes, after magic speed 1, 2 and 3 (in different colour). I chose Magic Speed as my race shoes, they are light, fast and perfect for races and new personal records. When I wear them, I feel like I can fly!

The Magic speed has been one of my go-to-shoes since their first edition. They are light weighted, still they're cushioned, offers you stability and a nice bounce moving forward. They have a full-lenght carbon plate in the midsole which provides you with a little extra push. Compared to the previous models I find this one a little bit tighter in the front, maybe it would be better to go up half size. In my opinion these are great shoes for tempo runs both on the treadmill or on the road. They share a lot of the same features as several competitions shoes and are still at a more reasonable price. If you want to train and test your shoes properly before a race, this is a model that works for both purposes.
This is the first time I have worn a carbon plated shoe and I really enjoyed it! They were super comfy despite being so much lighter than I am used to. I have the same size in these as I would my normal every day ASICS such as Kayanos or Nimbus and they fit fine. I am looking forward to wearing this for my speedwork/intervals during my training this year!
I really liked the prior model and had two pair. The things that made me not love it have been improved on this version. The heel is cushioned better not the weird heel. The toe box is a little bigger, the arch more supportive and the tongue connected to the slides for a super comfortable fit. I’m eager to get more miles on them.
I love Magic Speed ​​3! I've raced all Magic Speed ​​editions and enjoyed them all, but this third version has been improved to really be a winner. I use the Magic Speed ​​3 for slightly faster runs such as intervals and races, or when I just want a run in a pair of fast and light shoes. The upper is fantastically light and breathable and with a full-length carbon plate, it goes away if you let it!

No issues, no blisters and they are just so comfy.The Magic Speed 3 were comfortable from the start and felt very stable and well balanced. On roads and paths they feel fast, fast, fast and even on cobbled paths and trails they felt stable and comfortable. There was no 'wearing in' period and they were just great from the first time I wore them.The only downside I fgound is that they're so light that this is reflected in the material and youczn see your socks through the uppers ... so choose wisely! Not only do I love the way these look but I think they’re better than version 2. With their reconstructed FF BLAST PLUS cushioning they give much more a response and propel you forward with the help of the full length carbon plate. For faster sessions such as tempo, intervals they are brilliant.
The shoes were brilliant for improving speed, they felt fantastic underfoot. However it is a small fit for a size - I bought the same size as I normally would that gives me heaps of room, and these were tiny! I got blisters on my toes on my long run - would recommend going a size or two up.
