I dont think is really made clear to those new to running shorts.I realise you most likely dont want your pocket full of stuff jumping around while exercising though a side zip pocket would be 5 star. Having to drop your shorts to get at the rear internal pocket has its complications..I enjoy them and will continue to buy these as needed.

The shorts have an inside of elastic material, which feels very good. Outside they have that normal sports short look which makes them super unique. You can most probably use them for every sports activity and then you can use them with an ASICS T-shirt to have a chill outfit.

I bought 2 pairs and they arrived yesterday. Today I went on an eay 9 mile run and they are great, the fit is good, no chaffing and they seemed to stay pretty dry too. (it still pretty warm in Texas right now). I'm not sure why they are marked down but I'm going to oder a few of the other colors whilst they price is where it is.

The Asics "Road 2-N-1 5IN Shorts are my favourite shorts for every possible sport. I mostly use them for running, bodybuilding and soccer practise, but they are useable in every sport i've encountered so far. Even swimming.They are short, but the inner-part, makes them feel longer and less showy. They are really comfortable and doesn't in any way hinder your movement.I know own five pairs, so i dont have to wash them so often. I can only recommend!
Very comfortable only if u guys can add pockets would be cool. Recommend for gym and running. Also very comfortable for lower body. Once u put it on don’t need to adjust again.
I absolutely love 2-N-1 shorts, giving you that extra layer of shorts for sport. As a guy with larger legs, I find these shorts great as I often find that shorts ride up. The second layer is really helpful for stopping this. They are very comfortable!
So I purchased two pair of these 5 inch shorts on a whim because they were discounted and thought i'd get something light and short for summer runs. As an very new to running athlete, these shorts are extremely comfortable with plenty of stretch and don't chafe at all. They're also super lightweight with a small hidden pouch in the inside and the back perfect for keys or one or two gels, the fit is quite nice and they survive the wash/dryer pretty well so far. And finally there is a little reflective patch on the back of each short for those running at night and ocnscious that the shorts are black.Overall super happy with the purchase and I now prefer the shorter shorts over the 7" and linger pairs
I have several pairs of the ASICS 2-in-1 shorts now and they never let me down. The inner short is very comfortable, prevents any rubbing or chafe and the shorts wear and wash really well. Definitely recommend!
i got the shorts as a gift for my husband who is a keen runner. His feedback was great fit, good colour, only one drawback; they don't have pockets, just a little storage at the back of the waist. He has other running shorts with pockets and found the little zip pocket at the back too small.
I love the ASICS 2-n-1 shorts as they are very comfortable to run and reduces the risk of chaffing over long distances thanks to the inner short lining. My only issue is i wish the pockets were slightly bigger to keep things, i have a large phone that doesn't fit, maybe i should get a small phone. Otherwise, fantastic pair of shorts.
