ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 24 Running Shoes (Velvet Pine/New Leaf) 9.5 US

(2,555 reviews)

The GEL-NIMBUS 24 running shoe continues to offer excellent comfort and long-run impact absorption. Its improved stability provides a more balanced stride that's followed by smoother transitions. Constructed with comfort and breathability in mind, the upper features a softer engineered mesh design for long runs. Engineered eyelet shaping helps the upper move more naturally with the foot, while a stretchy midfoot panel appropriately hugs the foot to generate better flexibility. Providing the runner with excellent shock absorption and softness, the GEL-NIMBUS 24 delivers more compression in the heel thanks to its softer GEL technology cushioning unit and contoured design lines. Also, a gender-specific TRUSSTIC device provides an articulated amount of support in the right direction for men and women to help generate a smooth transition. Under the toe, the inclusion of gender-specific pillars help cushion the body and help runners experience a softer feel. Simultaneously, the ORTHOLITE X-55 sockliner equips runners with a forgiving, yet responsive stride. The components of the GEL-NIMBUS 24 shoe help increase the softness without forgoing the integrity of the shoe's ride. Our 24th version of the GEL-NIMBUS continues to make advancements within the lineage by offering improved support and comfort for distance runners.

Very comfortable, even on first wear. Fits like a glove.Loving the colours. Worth paying extra dollars for quality. Already has a red pair in same brand. Would highly

They are very different from the Gel-Nimbus 22 that they replace. The 24s have a very elastic upper. With my othotics inserted (and my apparently sticky socks), a different
technique is required to put them on. Once on, they are very comfortable.

I`d say that 24 nimbus doesn`t give such unique plush feeling, as it have 23 model. It`s a bit speedy oriented, but still exellent for comfort yogging. Thanks to tradeinn for
good prices and quality. Despite of war fast shipping.Glory to Ukraine.

Good shoe
20 June 2023
A good run in shoe which I have bought before. I always buy asics and have tried various types of asics for several years. I find that they are the hardest wearing soles although sometimes the uppermaterial can be prone to splitting. They are expensive and I wouldn't consider buying the recent models which are retailing from 165 - 225 pounds. I bought this pair because they had been reduced to a more realistic price. Although I think it should have been free from a standard delivery charge. But they were delivered several days earlier than at first indicated.... Show more

Good shoe for long runs
20 June 2023
I have used various versions of Asics Nimbus in the past and Nimbus 24 has changed a lot compared to Nimbus 22.The cushioning is still perfect and shoe feels very comfortable. However, the front is a bit narrower than Nimbus 22 or previous models. Also the tongue does not have any plush and the first times I tightened the laces too much so the left foot started to hurt after an hour or so. It took me several long runs to find the right balance for lace tightness.I will buy another Nimbus for the next season.... Show more

Great and comfortable sneakers
25 May 2022
Extremely comfortable sneakers, my feet don't hurt at all. The only problem I have with them is they don't breathe enough, if at all. I have solved a bit of the problem. I tie them really loose, I don't run I bought them for walking. I've never owned a pair before maybe other have that problem too.... Show more

Light and cushioned.
2 June 2023
I’ve worn Gel Nimbus for years. I have a neutral stride and these work well for me . They’ve gradually evolved and while I liked the earlier versions even more , I’m hapoy with these . Those runners who like a firmer shoe around the top of your foot might choose another model - these are quite sock like on the sides. I like that... Show more

Nice trainers but the lace has split after 2 wears

Updated shoe leaves a great feeling on the feet.
3 May 2022
I’ve been using the gel nimbus for years. Last model had a lovely upper that hugged the upper foot. This shoe is not that shoe. The whole upper is lighter and the tongue is a shadow of its former self without losing any comfort. I would have to say my foot strike even feels better. Shoe is comfy without any feeling of poor fit or cheapness. Some of the older clunkiness has gone without losing any comfort, support or cushion. I’m 65 and I’d tell you if it was not doing the job. So far, great update of a great shoe.... Show more
