Asics GEL-NIMBUS 9 Black
US11(UK10,EUR 45,28.5cm) I was super excited for these to arrive because I love the Y2K Asics and their silhouettes. When I opened the box, the padding was immaculate, the gel bounced back when I pressed on it and the infamous mesh of the Asics brand was pristine. However, these fit small and the tag on the shoe actually said they 28.5cm (All my other US11s are 29cm). Like the other reviews, these run small in length and I was disappointed but I have ordered the 11.5s and I am as equally excited for them to come :)... Show more

Cute sneakers
Cute sneakers, just like photo. I’ve gotten a number of compliments in the first few wears. I did order a half size up as many reviews recommended and I don’t think that was necessary. They’re a little loose but still work for me. These are certainly comfortable but not quite “running sneaker” level. I’ll be wearing for style, comfort, and weight training- and I’m satisfied with that.... Show more

Do not reccomend
I am a big fan of the Nimbus running shoe, and am currently wearing my 23s. I bought the Nimbus 9 in black/gunmetal for my job as a museum guard. After one shift in this shoes, my feet and ankles were screaming. The support in these shoes were not the same! I wish I could return them or at least exchange them. The Asics website refund policy is not as good as others, such as Zappos.... Show more

Great shoe, but QC could be better...
I think the nimbus 9 is a great sneaker, it currently is one of my favourites from Asics... in fact, it is one of my favourites sneakers from any brand ever, because of the great comfort and support, and because of the cool design and colourways. However, my last pair of these have some QC issues. The first two pairs I bought (a metallic one and a white one) were perfect, no issues at all. But this last pair (black) has many glue marks. Personally, it doesn't bother me too much (I still will wear these a lot), but I know many people do care a lot about this kind of issues.By the way, these fit a bit snug, specially in the toebox area. My TTS is men's 10 (for kayano 14, gel 1130, quantums 180 and 360, etc), but I prefer the nimbus 9 in 10.5 because I have more ... I once tried on the size 10 at the store, and I think I could get used to that snug fit, but I feel more secure with the 10.5 (my feet aren't wide at all, btw). I tell you this because some reviews and videos on the internet recommend going a whole size up, some even recommend a size and a half up, and I think that may be too much for some people, so beware.Overall, a very cool and comfy sneaker that I will keep wearing and buying in the next years. Cheers... Show more

Horrible Experience!
Horrible experience. I had the sneakers shipped to a store location. When I opened the box, the sneakers had so many imperfections!!! From glue, scratched paint to loose threads! I didn’t take them, I returned them, in-store and left. I really wanted these sneakers, just disappointed that they were in such a bad condition.... Show more

Long Time NIBUS USER
Let me first just say that I've had the every iteration of Gel-Nibus since 4, and out of all iterations the 9 is probably my favorite. Is it as light and cushiony as the 23? No it's not, but I love this shoe. I like the stiffness of it and especially like the look of it. I am not a marathon runner, I'm a doctor and I am on my feet all day however. My feet feel great at the end of the day. I have a pair for work and the gym. Although I love the Gel Nimbus line, you won't catch me wearing the new 24. Those things are hideous looking. The remind me of the Sketchers weight lose shoes from a few years back. I know Asics made the 24 for the hardcore runner, because I can't imagine anyone buying those for the looks. So I'm thrilled that Asics brought back the 9 for people ... MoreLet me first just say that I've had the every iteration of Gel-Nibus since 4, and out of all iterations the 9 is probably my favorite. Kudos. I'm actually going to buy a dozen pair of the 9 because I love them so much and I'm worried that the will discontinue it.... Show more

Looks great, not all that comfortable to wear
I am a long time Asics user for running and walking shoes and I would not buy any other brand. However, these shoes missed the mark in comfort. Style, they look great, but after two hours of wearing them, I could not wait to get them off. At this price point, I would expect the same great comfortable fit in sport style as in running shoes, especially since all I was doing was walking around in them.... Show more

Love the old style Nimbus
I started wearing Nimbus 16’s and continued with the Nimbus class shoes until recently as the new styles weren’t as supportive and became ugly. I love the Nimbus 9’s and would love them to continue. I’d also like them in straight black as I am a school teacher and wear them daily.... Show more

No longer well manufactured - Do Not Recommend
This is my fourth pair of Gel Nimbus. The first three were great and I replaced them once a year. The soles of my last pair began sloughing away at the sides within two months and now the edges are so cleaved the sneakers are unwearable. Asics refuses to stand by their product and blames me (I wore all four pairs for the same activities). Needless to say, I will never buy Asics again.... Show more

The best trainers I've ever had
These are the best trainers I've ever had. There no setting in, they are pure comfort from the first wear. I use them for casual as well as gym and they are second to none. Just love the design, look and feel of these. A true classic, i just dont know how you could improve on these and i hope that Asics as a company do not ever end the range of these as I will not be changine to anything else out there. If youve had a pair of these then you will know exactly what i am talking about. I would highly recommended these to anyone thinking of getting a solid all round trainer of this kind. My previous pair lasted 18 years and I still have them to this day, thats a testament to how good they are. Could simply not be happiers with these, rhey are the best trainers I've had ...
