(718 reviews)

A multi-purpose indoor court shoe, the GEL-ROCKET 10 offering continues to deliver excellent cushioning for a range of court athletes. This season, our updates focus on improving the shoe's stability while offering a more flexible fit. This shoe is designed with a flexible upper construction that can help feet bend more naturally and assist players in moving more freely. Additionally, this shoe also features synthetic leather overlays that improve support in the forefoot and help athletes make confident cuts. Designed with a TRUSSTIC application in the midsole, this application improves stability during quick transitions. Creating excellent comfort, the GEL technology cushioning unit in the heel is functional for providing better shock absorption. A wrap-up outsole and outrigger is a functional support component during side-to-side movements. In contrast, the heel wrap-up expands the contact area during the landing phase of your stride to help generate a smoother landing. Lastly, the flexible grooves in the outsole are complemented with a side grip design that improves flexibility on the court.

Always pleased with the fit of ASICS. Just trying to figure out why the arch side of the shoe has the “chevron” decaled on, whereas the “chevron” on the outside of each shoe is totally different and is the same quality I am used to on my Asics. When I purchase your shoes I try to purchase the shoes without the decal, and try to make sure to always purchase the impressed “chevron. Decal cheapens the look of the shoes.

Decent Shoes, but asics.com sizing was wrong.

The shoe seems like a good overall shoe (stable, light, decent looking, etc). The problem I has was with the asics.com recommending that I upsize by 1/2 size. I always wear an 11 Wide. I put this in their sizing recommendation tools, and it told me I needed an 11.5 Wide. So I ordered the 11.5. When I got the shoes, and tried them on, they seemed a little loose, but I trusted that Asics knew more than me and figured I just needed to wear them a little to let them settle in. They are simply too big by a half size. This won't do for indoor racket sports. I emailed customer service and they didnt even read my email. They sent me a canned refund response. I just need to buy shoes in person from now on. buying from Asics.com got me the wrong size and poor customer service.

HiI bought this shoe almost 8-9 months ago! I should write this review 7-8 ago, but since I am graduate student I always busy and postpone it! Finally I sprained my ankle. This shoe is slippery! My position was libero and from the time I bought it, I had an issue with these shoes! I used the shoes just for playing on court! It doesn't have a firm contact and the momentum contact to the floor! It was slippery and You could easily skating comper others shoes make a confirm contact to the floor!I changed my position and start to play as a hitter. After I blocked someone and landed to floor, the moment my right toes and ball touched the floor it slipped and my ankle moved to left and right and popped!I regret why I didn't buy new shoe, although I paid good amount ... MoreHiI bought this shoe almost 8-9 months ago! Excellent support, width, traction, etc.
11 October 2023

I bought these for pickleball and they are outstanding. Great tractionon wood court and outdoor surfaces, solid lateral support, and the width is correct for my EE feet. When I first felt the insole with my hand, I assumed it wasn't going to give enough cushion. I had been wearing a minimalist court shoe by Xero with very little padding and they were making the balls of my feet sore. I was wrong. It definitely feels firmer until you step off after a shot and then it gives at the right amountand almost feels like a firm gel insole. Can't recommend these enough.

Gel Rocket - Defective production quality
16 November 2021

The fit is awful! I have been buying this exact same model for the past 3 years. This pair is too narrow and tight. I emailed Customer Service and they were not helpful at all. I wore the show around me house for several hours immediately upon receipt. They seemed fine. The next day I played about 2.5 hrs of Pickleball and found my feet going numb and hurting especially around the ball of my foot. The next day I played Pickleball again wearing my older pair of Rocket 10 shoes and my feet were fine. There is a noticeable physical difference when comparing my older Rocket 10(purchased early 2021) to this new pair purchased the end of October 2021. The newer pair is definitely narrower across the ball of my foot, especially the right foot.Customer Service said I could ... MoreThe fit is awful! Great wide shoes for volleyball
11 October 2022

I am 6'2 (200 lbs) and have wide feet but not extra wide. Previous versions of the Gel-Rockets would take a while to break in before they would feel comfortable. With this pair, no break in period was required and they felt great from the start with a lot of lateral support. I play twice a week in an indoor gym. Glad Asics decided to offer a wide version.

My favorite, of all I have tried.
3 June 2024

This is my second pair of Gel-Rocket 10s. I play indoor racquetball. I have a pair of Head shoes and they feel very solid, but somehow less agile. The 10s are very lightweight and comfortable. I use Superfeet custom orthotics, as I have plantar fasciitis. They work well together. My old, first pair continues without any seam issues or tears. The sole wear is also excellent. I am a "rabbit" on the court and these shoes let me get around quickly. I can't imagine how these shoes could be made any better. I'm completely happy with them and will buy them again when the time comes.

Overall very good. Wide shoe not quite wide enough
13 August 2024

Lightweight, good traction for lateral movement. Unfortunately, the wide shoe isn't quite wide enough for my foot. It works but not as comfortable as I hoped. Seems like a great shoe for pickleball and volleyball if it fits your foot.

Very comfortable shoes but performance could be better
9 January 2023

I found these shoes very comfortable without any break-in period. They provide good cushioning and support. The gel sole is good for shock absorption as advertised, but it has a side effect - it slows me down a little on the court. I can run slightly faster in another make of shoes that supposedly returns some of the energy for the next stride. Also, the traction is not very good when I push off hard. I guess softer rubber would help but that would not be as durable.I bought these shoes for badminton. They are good enough for my pickleball games.

Volleyball shoes are a HIIT
23 March 2024

Great for HIIT class, these are built for lateral movement, with sudden starts and stops. You can see by the construction that there is great side support, these shoes cradle your feet. Running shoes are for running in a straight line, not for fitness classes.
