Dimpled with disappointment
I’m very dissatisfied with the quality. The toe of the shoe exhibits “dimples” which are more pronounced during normal wear. Comfort is somewhat satisfying but not as much as my last purchase. Sadly I am no longer an ASICS customer. Nike is STILL NOT an option for me!... Show more

Don’t Buy ASICS!
I purchased these on 6/15/2023 as a gift for a family member’s birthday. Fast forward one year and I asked him if he wanted a new pair of ASICS. He responded by sending me two photos where his sneakers have holes in them. I contacted ASICS by filling out a warranty form on 6/17/2024 and sent the photos of the shoes with holes. I asked if they were covered by warranty if they could give me a discount since they should not have holes in the fabric and they responded by saying the warranty is only good for 1 year since the date of purchase and I purchased them one year and two days before. I called and tried to clarify that I understood if the warranty expired from the date of receiving them, but couldn’t understand warranty started on the date of purchase. I also ... I was told again, very coldly, that the warranty was two days past coverage and they will not give me a discount. They were rude and unhelpful and I will not purchase another pair of these defective shoes!... Show more

Gloves on, these shoes are the solution to flat feet . Way better than the Gel:1
I was opting for the new Gel31 but the amazing staff at the flagship store in Melbourne cbd pointed me to the perfect runner for my wide demanding arch support feet. Cheaper and perfect fit. Thank you team cbd….. always a pleasure with you guys.See you next time.... Show more

Good Iteration with Nice Upgrades
Really like this iteration especially with the pure gel sole and 3D guidance system upgrades. They took a week or two to fully break in and have been great since. I feel like they’re a little more plush than the 12s but the shock absorption is noticeably better and fit is similar after breaking in. The usual 1/2 size larger recommendation continues to be correct for me (11 instead of 10.5).... Show more

Great shoe, but absolutely zero grip in the wet
I've been wearing GT-2000 shoes for years now, always loved them and the support they provide for my gait. But the most recent versions (12 and 13) seem to have massively reduced the tread and level of grip when street running in wet conditions, presumably to make them lighter. I've nearly slipped several times recently, and even had a full on head-over-heels incident on some smooth tarmac which was very painful. Please ASICS - can you address this issue - the loss of grip means I can't run as confidently in these shoes as I used to, and will have to look for an alternative.... Show more

Have alway worn Kayano’s from first release.
I have worn Kayanos since their first release in the 90’s but couldn’t find my size so opted for the ASICS GT 1000 and could not be happier. The same ASICS that felt comfortable from the first step. I will be going back to these shoes if my size in the Kayanos is not available a great substitute... Show more

Stable running shoe
I was looking for a shoe to replace my Brooks Dyad 4E which have been discontinued.I need rearfoot stability, but not the usual Pronation control. These shoes are not too high, and not too soft, so they looked to be the right mix.And the shoe needed to be wide enough to stop me getting bursitis.I have only done one run, but it was 21km with no ill effects. Perfect!... Show more

Will never wear a different shoe again.
I have worn the GT models for years. I decided to try a different brand of shoes for work, I am a nurse, bad mistake. I came back to ASICS and will always wear them, my feet and legs do not ache after a 12/14 hour shift standing mostly all day. When I walk for exercise they support my feet and ankles.... Show more
