Back on ASICS
Really pleased with these trainers. Very glad I went back to ASICS after such a long absence. I bought the men’s Orange pair as I love the colour - unfortunately they only offered pink in ladies size. Why oh, oh why do design teams stereotype women and give them no colour options but pink, as if that is the only colour that defines a woman!!!!!! It’s hard to fathom in this day and age, anyhews Nag done! So as advised I dropped a size and went for the Orange. Very pleased I did, really comfortable with good even cushioning throughout the sole and moderate arch support. I’ll be getting another pair.... Show more

First time buyer of Asics
I decided to try ASICS for the first time I run a walking group that meets twice a week, also do circuit training and would like to do the moon walk next year I have been previously mainly wearing my walking boots but especially this time of year they are quite heavy and wanted something lighter but still comfortable and that I could also use for other exercise. I read through a lot of reviews and recommendations on best trainers etc I didn’t want a super expensive trainer but did want a decent good quality trainer which will last and suitable for my needs. Having suffered for a while until quite recently with plantar fasciitis I needed support but also comfort. They are true to size. I think this is a good choice and feel like they will last... Show more

For me the Best trainers
Had my last ASICS for about 2 years and my app said I was due a new pair after the mileage I’d done. I purchased these online as I knew the style and fit would be right for my gait. They were more expensive than I’ve paid previously, the fit was perfect and they looked as they did online, I went out and did a test 3mile run and they were supportive and had excellent cushioning for the road run, you don’t notice how much your shoes wear, until you put the new ones on! They were great with no new shoe issues! Two days later I went for a 10km run, again like a pair of old favourites! Love the trainers, love this brand. Would never buy anything other than ASICS! For me they are the best *****... Show more

Go down a half size
Was disappointed and worried when the gt2000 10s were discontinued as I loved that shoe! Bought the 11s to try them, getting the same size as my 10s and found they were too big and slipping on me, even with a lace lock. Swopped them for a half size smaller and they seem to fit better. Used them on runs up to 13k (but not my long runs yet) and I think they're ok so far.Overall a fee negative are emerging but I'd still buy them as they'rePOSITIVES: seem lighter than 10s (not sure if they are but they feel it.)Seem to have good enough supportComfortable enough ride in themGood cushioning. No major pain running in them - some minor aches and redness on legs/heels that I can't work out if it's the shoes or something else. Once sized down, decent enough fit. ... MoreWas disappointed and worried when the gt2000 10s were discontinued as I loved that shoe! Great shoes for long runs on hard surface
I am buying the GT-2000 model now for the last 15 years. The design is not my favourite BUT it does it's job really good.I am just back from a 10K run and they do feel great! Only when running speed repeats the inner cushionings friction is too high which results in hot foot soles. But as these shoes are made for longer runs it's okay for me. I will put in my orthopedic inlays anyways and they don't have that problem.... Show more

Great trainer offering good stability.
These are my second pair and can’t fault them. They are ideal for road running and I use them to train in the early stages of a marathon.Personally once I start upping the miles I prefer the Gel Kayono’s. But for the shorter runs up to 10 miles I’d say they are perfect.U could easily do a marathon in these I just prefer a bit more stability for the longer runs.Fit perfect unlike other makes which caused me no end of blisters. No blisters with these trainers.... Show more

Highly recommend!!
I bought this sneaker in a size 8.5 both regular and wide widths. They are true to size. The regular were too narrow for him but the wide width fits him perfectly. He absolutely loves these sneakers and is so happy that they had a wide width option. He has worn them every day since receiving them and has had absolutely no complaints and is constantly telling me how great they are; light weight and good cushion underfoot, and I think they look great! Highly recommend!!... Show more

Most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever owned?
I’m no connoisseur, but I’ve been running for over 40 years and know what works for me. I’ve been wearing the GT-2000 for the last 10 years, and its predecessors for 9 years before that. I’ve used the GT-2000 v11 for a couple of weeks, and so far I think it may be the most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever used. It provides good support for my low arches, nice stability for my ankles, and feels noticeably lighter than previous versions of this model. My only concern at this point is the durability of the uppers. I tend to wear running shoes for longer than is probably recommended, and my pinky toes have worn through the uppers on all previous versions of the GT-2000 I’ve owned. We’ll see what happens down the line, but so far I’ve been very pleased with this shoe.... Show more

Supportive
Hi I purchased these for my daughter who has additional needs and usually wears splints . When waiting for her new splints to arrive we had a period of requiring a shoe which give good ankle support . These fitted the bull perfectly . Due to hyper mobility she has been unable to get heel strike and her foot drops but with these the support in the heel and ankle have been great . I hadn’t noticed before when looking at too brand school schools just how little support is in the heel until you compare them alongside ascis . These are an excellent alternative for days when she needs a break from her splints and I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthotics to try out . The Velcro opening makes it easy to get on and off , If I had a negative thing to say it would ... MoreHi I purchased these for my daughter who has additional needs and usually wears splints . Well worth the money- like a magic wand!
I recently saw a podiatrist who told me I suffer from over pronation and plantar fasciitis. He recommended ASICS as they sell all sorts of types of trainer for all sorts of foot issues.I went into go into the search bar and filtered what my foot issue was-this is so easy. Then the website showed me which trainers would work for me-perfect!They’ve helped me so much. No more constant foot pain-it was getting unbearable but since I’ve been wearing these along side the stretches he recommended, my feet after 4 years are finally starting to feel better. Well worth the money!... Show more
