I viewed this shoe as a fairly humble-looking shoe..... How wrong was I !! This would have to be the most comfortable shoe I have worn in over ten years... I am not exaggerating. From every angle, my feet feel supported .... I have not stopped wearing them since buying them .. I love the feel under my toes... the way the shoe assists the foot to move with great impact reduction from front to back. I have peripheral neuropathy and I have found the shoe that does it for me.... this shoe solved many problems .... Thanks Asics !!

Purchased online on sale without trying on in store as there were none in stock anywhere locally. Firstly, these are specifically designed for people with flat feet and no arches. See the pronation notes. So if you have normal feet then they are probably not the right ones for you. You can take out the very thin inner sole and replace it. As their website states:"...also suitable for use with orthotics."Only problem is most orthotics would be well and truly thicker than the supplied inner sole so the overall fit would be impacted. Maybe you would need an extra half a size.Like any shoe they require some getting used to. Whilst they are breathable, that also means you will get wet feet if it is a little drizzly or when walking through wet grass. I found they can be a bit slippery on wet surfaces like tiles.I replaced the inner sole with an off-the-shelf orthotic. They feel much better as I do not have flat feet. Give me 6 months and I may be a huge fan but maybe the Walkride would have been a better choice. The 2E sizing is okay as it gives you space to wiggle your toes. I am sure they a great shoe for the right foot.Would I buy them again myself? Probably not. Would I recommend them? Too early to tell. And I have no idea how long they will last.

Never owned a pair of Asics in my life and it seems like I have been missing out. These things are extremely well fitting, especially around and over the backs of your ankles. Sizes seem to run pretty spot on and the 2E width suits me just fine.Effortless and painless movement.Comfort is beyond satisfactory. Will buy again.

These are by far my favourite asics I've found, I've worn everything from quantum 5, 6 and 7s. I found this style matches the gt2000 8s and have found that they are the longest lasting shoes I've owned and comfiest all round while looking aggressive and matching most outfits.I will definitely buy again and suggest you give them a go.Only issues is the black pair I got didn't match the photo in material and are shiny coated material instead of just plain material but the shoes performance outweighs this.
I do lots of walking and I love this shoe. So light and comfortable, while being robust and durable. Definitely worth the money.
This is another purchase of the Asics GT series walking shoe. As in the past the fit straight out of the box was phenomenal, no wearing in required.
Bought these online (2e width) after being very disappointed with the gt-1000 shoe. Straight out the box they fit perfectly. As a sufferer of very flat feet these shoes have great firm stability to support the arch and keeps everything aligned through the knees and hips.I would highly recommend these shoes 10/10
This is the second pair I have had this year and they have both worn holes in the sole quickly. This pair was received in early April and already holes have appeared.I purchased a pair this time last year which I wore daily, including a holiday where I did 20000 to 30000 steps a day, and they have only slightly more wear than the pair I purchased 2 months ago.Asics quality is not what it used to be and I will look for another brand in the future
Trying out the ASICS after 18 months walking in a pair of NU BALANCE. So far very impressed. Very comfortable and light weight. I have a wide foot and whilst in general the NU BALANCE seemed a wider fit, the 2E width of the ASICS is just right. Very happy with the purchase. If they last more than 18 months I'll definitely be sticking to ASICS.
They're pretty ugly but seem to be the only walking shoes Asics make. One bad feature: on a wet surface (concrete or asphalt) they are lethal!! Be extremely careful. They fit very well and are really comfortable, could do with extra arch support but are good for urban walking otherwise.
