Featuring a modified sole, this shoe offers comfortable cushioning underfoot. Taking on the aesthetic of a traditional sneaker, this model is also associated with nostalgic markings, such as the ASICS stripes on the quarters and the "ASICS" lettering on the heel. The JAPAN S sneaker's vintage aesthetic is also associated with iconic court-specific details, inspired by the shoes worn by basketball players in the 1980s.

I purchased these Japan S trainers from the Asics website. I'm registered blind with extremely limited sight in one eye. Firstly i found the website manageable ona 65 inch screenvand using adaptive technology. The website is very user friendly comoared to so many others. As far as the trainers are concerned, i already had two pairs of Japan S. I have a very extensive range of high end trainers across many brands. The Japan S trainers are currently my favourite brand and style. They are a stunning classic design than goes well with many wardrobe items. They are comfortable beyond what i expected them to be. These are now one of 5 different Japan S colour combos I own and im extremely happy with them all. The price was very reasonable and they were delivered promptly ... Perfect stylish trainers for holidays!!

Bought these as a second gift for my husband as more of a stylish trainer he could wear going out on holidays as I'd already bought him the Gel Pulse 14 as his everyday pair. The Japan's give him that unique ASICS comfort and fit that he loves along with a sleek and stylish look that he wanted. Again he didn't have to break them in as they were the perfect size and fit as always with ASICS. He has the most awkward feet when it comes to buying shoes and ASICS is always his go to for trainers as they never let him down.... Show more

The quality of the shoes is poor. I have an old shoes which I purchased 1 year ago and the quality was much better. The current shoes’ material substitute is cheap, even laces are of low and cheap quality. My feet suffer and I get allergy when the materials don’t let air in, and this what happened to me this time with a new pair of shoes which I wore only around 1 hour. I would prefer to pay more for good quality.... Show more
