I love this shoe! The dual density midsole FF/FF Blast + feels soft and forgiving but also durable and comfortable. The full length Carbon/TPU plate is less rigid than the Metaspeed shoes for a softer landing but still feels snappy with lots of forward propulsion. This is perfect for up-tempo training workouts, and for most, would also be a great race day shoe.

I love these upgrades to the first magic speeds. I bought these as trainers for the meta sky and they’re perfect. Great cushion, comfortable, tons of bounce, and lightweight. The full carbon plates makes a huge difference. I’ll be buying a couple more!

Never wore ASICS before but these have changed my mind. I have alway worn Altra because of the wide toe box but with these I do t have any issue with my toes being smashed and getting blisters. These are my long distance runners so really anything 5 miles or more. The bounce is nice and the Carbon plate it magic. When I were then and start moving it feels like a very natural movement.

I love these shoes. Super impressed with them. They are comfortable and super responsive! I definitely like this version better than the first. I will definitely being buying more of these in other colors!!
Very happy with the improvements made to this shoe! There is now padding around the ankle and the upper material seems to be a lot better. The padding in the forefoot is excellent. This is a bargain for a full carbon plate shoe and I can definitely feel the difference over the original Magic Speed shoe. Aside from the ugly ASICS lettering on the side this is a great shoe for both speed work and racing.
Style is almost like the Meta-Sky just a poor mans version, I used these for tempo, intervals and cutdowns.. cram down from 10-14miles every workout and Magic Speeds have reacted splendidly. Do recommend these if you are a runner looking for a workout shoe or your next race day shoe without throwing in the big bucks but still receiving a fair pair of kicks.
The ASICS MAGIC SPEED 2 EKIDEN have absolutely blown me away! I can only compare the feeling of running in them, to running on supportive clouds! They are bouncy and light but are packed with FLYTE FOAM cushioning that really helps me during my faster and longer running workouts!
Solid tempo or interval shoe for saving your Metaspeed for race day. Good fit and feedback when going at speed but harsher than the metaspeed. They feel like a stiff flat. Still very fast. Definitely recommend.
