Faster starts are NOT worth crappy jumps :(

Bought these shoes specifically to jump and dunk in as it’s been difficult to find a basketball shoe that works for me. Best shoe I’ve ever had is my current shoe Nike Hyperattack. I want to add something else to the rotation so they last. Lockdown, grip, and responsive cushion that still provides court feel are my biggest needs and while I did get most of these, there is a “feature” in this shoe that literally threw me. The elevated heel although not obvious when looking was EXTREMELY noticeable when jumping. The shoe would actually shoot me forward on my jumps instead of up and messed with my heel/toe transition. To make up for it I had to shorten my penultimate which didn’t feel natural and wasn’t worth dealing with. Huge shoutout to ASICS though! Instead I’ll be trying out the sky elite ff 2 and am looking forward to using them!

I’ve been a longtime wearer of ASICS netball shoes and was unfortunately really disappointed with these ones. I found the sole to be very hard and did not feel like I had any cushioning. As I continued wearing them for my 1-2 games a week I started getting a deep foot pain which would disappear if I stopped wearing them for a week but would start as soon as I started wearing them again. I haven’t lasted a whole season in them.

I bought these and due to the high sides it would bruise the underside of my ankle. I powered through and when they were a bit more broken in they are perfectly fine and a great shoe.Love the design and colour!! they need some more of this line of shoe in more colours like this.I would recommend if people are first time buyer of netburners to size up. I'm usually a 5 and I wear a 6/6.5 in Asics.

Great shoe for narrow feet
4 January 2023

My daughter was finally able to get out of the kids netball shoes and into the Netburner Ballistic FF2, she loved the fit as she has a narrow foot. Playing regularly has seen the soles last just over 6 months. We updated and purchased the updated Netburner Ballistic FF3 and she loves the fit and comfort. Note we looked at the Netburner Professional FF3 and found it was too wide for her foot and while these shoes a light, they don't have padded tongue and the toe box material does not seem as robust.

Great shoe for netball
13 October 2022

The Asics Netburner Ballistic FF3 are great. They have excellent grip on the sole and limited foot movement within the shoe. They're very comfortable on and lightweight to wear. The outer sole will last longer with it's rubber like coating rather than fabric that tends to wear through. Big fan of the colours too, highly recommend!

The unique midfoot Trusstic System provides excellent support, preventing any unwanted twisting or rolling of the foot during intense lateral movements. This stability aspect is crucial in maintaining my balance and confidence during matches, ultimately giving me the edge over my opponents.Additionally, the upper of the NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF 3 is constructed using durable yet breathable materials. The mesh panels ensure proper airflow, keeping my feet cool and dry throughout long and grueling matches. I never have to worry about discomfort or blisters, even during intense tournament games. The outsole of the shoe is another highlight. ASICS has incorporated their AHARPLUS rubber compound, which offers exceptional traction on both indoor and outdoor surfaces. I felt confident in my movements, knowing that the shoes would provide the necessary grip to maneuver effectively. The fit of the NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF 3 is snug but not overly tight. ASICS has engineered the shoe with a secure lacing system that allows for a personalised fit. It hugged my feet perfectly, providing a supportive and locked-in feel without sacrificing comfort. The design of the NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF 3 is sleek and modern. The colours and subtle accents creates a visually appealing shoe that will surely turn heads on the court.Considering all these outstanding features, I can confidently say that the ASICS NETBURNER BALLISTIC FF 3 is a worthy investment for any serious netball player. Its exceptional performance, stability, breathability, and traction make it the ideal footwear to help you win matches and dominate the game.

Same but not the same.
24 February 2023

The shoes are made well and feel durable and sturdy. They are super comfy on the sole of the shoe when you put them on and start moving. However, my previous Asics have all been generous width wise. These unfortunately are not. They are very tight and inflexible compared to my other Asics, making these shoes quiet uncomfortable for wear for longer periods of time. Asics are well known to accommodate for larger sized feet (size 12 womens) which is why I always gravitate to them. I overlooked other brands to purchase these shoes and have regrets. I wish they were are comfortable as my other Asics.

So disappointing, but look great

The ASICS Netburner Ballistics have been my go-to netball shoe for the past few netball seasons. I liked the runner-style fit of these shoes and so was excited to try the 3’s. Unfortunately, despite the price increasing I felt the quality had decreased.Pros:- Lightweight. Compared to my Ballistic 2’s these are a much lighter shoe.- Sturdy. I felt there was good ankle support and the material felt durable.- Style. These look great! I cannot bear wearing brightly coloured netball trainers, thank goodness ASICS are still giving us white options.Cons:- Small fit. I went up half a size in the Ballistic 2’s, and these are the same. Even half a size up, they felt snug.- Narrow forefoot. Very very tight and firm in the forefoot, no wiggle-room for my toes. Even half a size up, they felt snug.- Narrow forefoot. Very very tight and firm in the forefoot, no wiggle-room for my toes. After 10mins of walking around I had pins and needles (never happened in previous netball shoes). Possibly they may stretch over time.- Firm cushioning. In this newer model ASICS are using more “Flytefoam” for cushioning and less Gel. In my opinion, they are sacrificing cushioning for less weight. To me they felt very firm underfoot. Possibly not ideal for those netballers prone to Achilles niggles.- NOT breathable. The most surprising and off-putting thing about these trainers is that they are HOT! 10 minutes waking indoors and my feet were overheating and legs sweating. The upper material appears quiet synthetic/plastic and not breathable.Overall, I was disappointed about these and have returned them. Although the white option looks great, the fit and the feel does not do it justice. It’ll be my first season this year not playing in ASICS…

Sooooooo Comfortable :)
3 October 2022

Soooooooo comfortable.... to be honest I had moved away from traditional netball trainers after suffering with achilles tendonitis and finding that the trainers were exacerbating it. So after a few seasons of "normal" trainers I thought i'd revisit this general style (mosty because they are in my team colours and they look lovely on the page!). They are BY FAR the whitest trainers I think I have ever owned but I absolutely love them. They are so comfortable... the mid height gives me an extra security with my ankle guards and they feel super sturdy and they are really lightweight. Highly recommended and I may invest in another pair when ive paid for these to keep in the wardrobe for future seasons!

I spend a lot of time researching trainers for me and my daughter and also we wanted a really good pair in white. We have had netburner makes before and found them to be really good. My daughter plays 5 times a week so her footwear is so important. Although these are expensive we have made the right choice. The foot feels sturdy and the grip in excellent. First game in them last week and some players found the court slippy but these held up. We both play centre so they need to be able to withstand the movements and speed in which you go across court. Definitely recommend. Downside these are on the expensive side as I have to buy two pairs so a multi but discount would have been appreciated and also the laces do come short so an option of longer laces here would be a ... MoreI spend a lot of time researching trainers for me and my daughter and also we wanted a really good pair in white.
