Yoursquoll feel a spring in your step when running in the ASICS Novablast 3. The Novablast 3 now features FF BLASTtrade PLUS foam that creates a more energizing rebound coupled with a trampoline-inspired outsole design. ASICS also added more cushioning, while making the shoe significantly lighter with its new midsole compound. Reviewers loved the light, bouncy ride in our ASICS Novablast 3 review. A heel stabilizer supports the foot to give you a more balanced stride, while the gusseted tongue wing fit system improves the midfoot fit and reduces any tongue sliding. Inspired by geometric origami, the upper not only looks fast, but the new engineered monofilament mesh keeps the foot cool and comfortable as your run heats up. The ASICS Novablast 3 is a great everyday trainer that provides a lively, cushioned ride.

A shoe is a shoe, these are fine for now

Maybe this is a break in issue but these shoes squeek like crazy. When I'm jogging especially if I step in a puddle then this squeeek-squeeek,squeeek noise starts, it is actually kind of funny, my kids get a kick out of it. When the shoe is dry its perfectly fine so maybe its just avoiding water and thankfully I live in a dry heat area so avoiding puddles is not a big deal. The other issue that is a bit of a bother but I can live with is that their is the slightest sensation that my feet are leaning to the outer left side of each shoe when jogging. If I stand upright without moving or even regular walking I dont feel it as much. Over all a shoe is a shoe. Each one has its ups and downs. I guess Im just a bit finicky now because this is the most I paid for gym shoes.

I was looking for a shoe that I could wear that would not give me any pain at all. At first, I thought the NovaBlast 2 were the most comfortable shoes ever. My usual shoe is the Cumulus, which I've been wearing for over 10 years, but I found them to be getting tight in the forefoot. I run marathons and weekly training is around 35 - 45 miles. I liked the 2 so much I ordered the NovaBlast 3. Unfortunately, I started to develop hip pain after logging around 200 miles in the NovaBlast 2. I didn't make the connection to the shoe until I noticed that my inner foot was dropping (sinking upon impact). It was like the cushion gave way under the inner side of my foot. This doesn't happen in the Cumulus or any other running shoe I've used. It's not a stride issue or anything like that. Of course, eventually I had to try the NovaBlast 3, which I only used once when I first received them. I thought it may have been a flaw with only the one pair. Nope. Hip pain started coming back and I noticed once again my inner foot was sinking. My wife even notice that my foot looked odd while running behind me. Threw both pairs in the garbage. These shoes seem to work fine for others, but not me, which is too bad because they are comfortable. It's more important to me that I run without pain!! Wish I had kept them for a photo, you could actually see they were tilted inward.

Don't stop making vs3 ever!
4 June 2024

Most fun shoe I've ever ran in. My first venture away from gel (30+ years injury free) and so far this is my favorite shoe ever. Feels like running on a gym matt in my socks. Wouldn't change a thing. Marathon pace is usually 3hrs +/- would feel comfortable training or racing in these shoes. Never thought one shoe could do both!Bought vs 3 since reviews said vs 4 was not as bouncy due to eco foam. Also "eco" virtue signaling turns me off. Just please continue making good shoes!

Excellent trainer and long distance running shoe
3 November 2022

Best running shoe I've ever owned, I've worn the GT-2000s for several years and last year switched to Kayanos which I considered an upgrade. Novablast by far outperforms these two previous. SO SO comfortable and bouncy as it is mentioned. It took me 2-3 runs to get used to it since it feels high when you put them on but boy are they awesome! I do a about 17miles during the week and then a long run on the weekend, 8-10miles. Last two weekends I did a 12miler and 14miler and they did not disappoint. One thing that I wish ASICs will improve is the bottom of the sole, feels and is pretty flat without much grip unlike their other shoes. I'm not asking for a trail shoe but better grip on the bottom can be improved.

Purchased this shoe to replace previous daily trainer (NB 880V13,) which I had been well pleased with. Like the NB, this shoe presents smartly, and the midnight/olive oil livery is fantastic. The fit gave me pause. Initially, I did not sense that locked-in feel around the heel. Fun shoe but causing me problems
25 September 2024

Shoes deliver a bouncy ride, as promised. This has resulted in more knee pain than usual for me, as the force of impact is transferred up the leg. On longer runs the toebox feels cramped. I sought this shoe out as it had been recommended for runners with high arches, but find my forefoot sinking into the foam too much. I'm sure this will work for many runners out there, but I'm finding it difficult to integrate into my training plan due to the above issues.

Good shoes for training run
10 February 2023

I usually use Nike and Hoka, but wanted to expand to other brand, and decided to try Novablast. I didn't like old Asics heavy running shoes, so I didn't think about Asics for a long time, but I heard and read great reviews about these shoes, and I thought Novablast is different from the old heavy Asics that I am familiar with. It's a bit heavier than my Mach 5 (my favourite training shoes), but lighter than Air Zoom Tempo or Zoom fly. Cushion is pretty good, as a lot of people say. It's great for training runs on the slow side. Wish it is a bit lighter. Upper is too thick and adding weight. The outer sole seems durable, although I am not the loud sound the outer sole makes. I guess it's a trade off against durability. The green color of the sole is really cool. Although the gray upper color is not clean. I don't like the pattern they put on the upper. I think the shoes look better without the pattern on the upper. Overall, I am happy with Novablast for training. Wish it's a bit lighter, and the upper design is simpler.

Great Cushioned Neutral Shoes
15 June 2024

I am constantly looking for a lightweight yet well cushioned shoe. 65-year-old male runner with an artificial left hip who runs about 20 miles per week. These shoes really fit the bill, and I have been testing a number of different brands and models. Very well cushioned yet lightweight, and they feel as if they are moving me forward in a way that other shoes don’t. Very pleased with my purchase.

Your Go To Daily Trainer
17 December 2023

Great combination of cushion and snap. Good for a longer run where you pick up the speed, it seems to be a good go to for day-in and day-out miles. I love the forefoot cushion and the plush ride of the midsole. The upper is comfortable without being excessive. Its a great pairing with my Gel Numbus 25s, which I use for long, slow runs or recovery runs. I also appreciate the fact that there are an incredible array of color ways.
