Concepted and designed by Angelo Baque and his team at Awake NY, the goal was to create something versatile, that can be worn day or night. The GEL-NYC pairs the brand’s newest technology with ASICS’ beloved archival designs. The shoe's upper comes from the early 2000s GEL-NIMBUS 3, mixed with a bit of the GEL-MC PLUS sneakers design.
