Amazing Netball Shoes
These shoes are incredible. Made such a difference to my game play and are so supportive and comfortable. They are a little on the small size so I would size up by .5. As I originally ordered my normal size and had to size up a bit. But appreciate everyone is different. Except from that 10/10.... Show more

Faster starts are NOT worth crappy jumps :(
Bought these shoes specifically to jump and dunk in as it’s been difficult to find a basketball shoe that works for me. Best shoe I’ve ever had is my current shoe Nike Hyperattack. I want to add something else to the rotation so they last. Lockdown, grip, and responsive cushion that still provides court feel are my biggest needs and while I did get most of these, there is a “feature” in this shoe that literally threw me. The elevated heel although not obvious when looking was EXTREMELY noticeable when jumping. The shoe would actually shoot me forward on my jumps instead of up and messed with my heel/toe transition. To make up for it I had to shorten my penultimate which didn’t feel natural and wasn’t worth dealing with. Huge shoutout to ASICS though! Return process ... Instead I’ll be trying out the sky elite ff 2 and am looking forward to using them!... Show more

Good shoe but lackluster insert
Overall a great shoe but the insert is lackluster, pretty disappointing considering this is the higher end. Shoe insert is basically the same as the low end shoe, basically no (extra)padding, just an insert. I would recommend to buy a Dr.Schol sport insert or any sport insert to replace the original insert for extra comfort and also much better fit and overall offers much better absorption to protect the knees.... I love the high ankle
Delivered after about 5 days. My heel fit like a glove, which was amazing. However, I’m worried if I have ordered half a size too large as the room for toes feels very spacious. I have tightened the shoe but it has crinkled at the top due to the material. I’m always the same size across ASICS trainers. I would recommend trying on trainers in store as models do change over the years.... Show more

NOTE: narrower forefoot vs past generations
I've worn my original Netburners for a number of years now and my ASO braces finally chewed them up too much and they were due for replacement. Unfortunately the fit on the FF3s seems to be significantly narrower in the forefoot and swooped in earlier where my big toe sat. Holding the old and new up soles-together you can see a 3/8" or so reduction in width in the molded portion with FF3 (i.e. not from stretching out/breaking in).Unfortunately the narrower fit and pinching on my big toe was enough that I ended up returning them due to concern of hot spots during extended play. Otherwise though construction appeared solid and the look--especially in blue, was very sharp.... Show more

Snugly fitting shoe, true to size
Snug, secure fit. Traction on indoor court good. May be a bit snug feeling if you prefer wider toe box. Firm insole that you may wish to change out for a personalized orthotic or cushier ride. As a setter, appreciate the firm support when moving side to side quickly.... Show more

So disappointing, but look great
The ASICS Netburner Ballistics have been my go-to netball shoe for the past few netball seasons. I liked the runner-style fit of these shoes and so was excited to try the 3’s. Unfortunately, despite the price increasing I felt the quality had decreased.Pros:- Lightweight. Compared to my Ballistic 2’s these are a much lighter shoe.- Sturdy. I felt there was good ankle support and the material felt durable.- Style. These look great! I cannot bear wearing brightly coloured netball trainers, thank goodness ASICS are still giving us white options.Cons:- Small fit. I went up half a size in the Ballistic 2’s, and these are the same. Even half a size up, they felt snug.- Narrow forefoot. Very very tight and firm in the forefoot, no wiggle-room for my toes. After ... Even half a size up, they felt snug.- Narrow forefoot. Very very tight and firm in the forefoot, no wiggle-room for my toes. After 10mins of walking around I had pins and needles (never happened in previous netball shoes). Possibly they may stretch over time.- Firm cushioning. In this newer model ASICS are using more “Flytefoam” for cushioning and less Gel. In my opinion, they are sacrificing cushioning for less weight. To me they felt very firm underfoot. Possibly not ideal for those netballers prone to Achilles niggles.- NOT breathable. The most surprising and off-putting thing about these trainers is that they are HOT! 10 minutes waking indoors and my feet were overheating and legs sweating. The upper material appears quiet synthetic/plastic and not breathable.Overall, I was disappointed about these and have returned them. Although the white option looks great, the fit and the feel does not do it justice. It’ll be my first season this year not playing in ASICS…... Show more

Sturdy, agile, gripping trainers.
I spend a lot of time researching trainers for me and my daughter and also we wanted a really good pair in white. We have had netburner makes before and found them to be really good. My daughter plays 5 times a week so her footwear is so important. Although these are expensive we have made the right choice. The foot feels sturdy and the grip in excellent. First game in them last week and some players found the court slippy but these held up. We both play centre so they need to be able to withstand the movements and speed in which you go across court. Definitely recommend. Downside these are on the expensive side as I have to buy two pairs so a multi but discount would have been appreciated and also the laces do come short so an option of longer laces here would be a ... worst Shoes Ever!
This is probably my 15+ pair of asics--the only brand I wear. BUT, this particular pair is the MOST uncomfortable show I have ever put on my foot. I've tried breaking them in (not usually needed before) and after two + months of daily wear, they are no better than on day one. The plastic on the top is to blame I'm guessing as it doesn't stretch. I wear them only as long as needed on the court and immediately remove them as my feet ache... I would not recommend and am so sorry I didn't get my normal style and wasted my $$$... Show more
