My osteo told me to get a flatter, neutral shoe that was as flat as possible so the cushioning didnt force my feet, ankles or hips into wrong movement patterns. He has fixed my movement so I'm not in pain but now I'm more comfortable walking in bare foot than in shoes. But I wanted some cushioning for running and other sports. Its really hard to find a good neutral shoe as most have cushioning that isn't flat. I've had these for about 3 months and so far found them to be really good.

The website said 'good support' but in reality it had zero arch support. Just a flat piece of foam similar to a Kmart shoe. It also smelt very strongly of a rubber/chemical smell. However, I was impressed with the fast and easy and free returns process with their free Asics membership, and the money was quickly refunded. I soon bought a pair of GT-2000 shoes which are great.

I brought these shoes mainly for walking as I’m walking about 50km per week and also starting to incorporate some jogging into my walks. These shoes are great. They are comfortable and I feel that they give adequate support. I had not done any running for a few years due to broken hip and subsequent hip replacement. I have been walking 50km per week in these shoes and also started jogging. I would highly recommend these and will probably get more when this pair wears out.

I have had these shoes for a few weeks now and I love them. The padding in the soles are just what I need. It has cushioned arch support and it's not that rigid plastic stuff. I like how my foot feels cushioned with each step. Additionally, I have low ankles and these accommodate for them well. The toe box is nicely meshed to allow my foot to breathe. The laces are sturdy and don't slip as I'm trying them up either.I enjoyed these shoes so much that I got the grey and pink version too.
I purchased these about a month ago. I have been an ASICS customer for years because of the comfort and great fit. However, they have changed the heel design to be bigger. I have a very narrow heel and this new design makes my heel slip constantly. Therefore, I am not able to wear them. Very disappointing for someone who loved this brand. Bring back the old design!!
This critique aims to provide a formal analysis of Net's footwear, which offers undeniable comfort but falls short in terms of durability. Specifically, within a month of regular use, the shoe's fabric tore unexpectedly. Considering the significant cost of the product, I find myself unable to replace it within the next six months. The purpose of this review is to highlight the shortcomings and express the need for improved longevity in Net's footwear offerings.
Had to change to a men's as I have a very broad foot. Didn't have the wide in the men's size I needed. We're supposed to be able to do a 'save the sale 'transaction as informed by another store looking for the right size. Took back to store I bought it from. They wouldn't do the 'save the sale ' , so I had to get my sister to collect from a store near her. They also said that my Paypal transaction was refunded, but after a week, I contacted PayPal and finally got a refund in motion, which took another week to clear. Not a great experience. Gave 3 stars for the shoes, not my satisfaction with Rebel. As far as the shoes go. I read a glowing review which said that they can were as good as more expensive brands. Well, I'm a bit disappointed. They be are not be overly comfortable. I am being optimistic, but have had other shoes that started off far more comfortable, and still damaged my feet further than they already are. Don't think a pair exists that would be comfortable for me, so not totally blaming the shoe.
I walk 15-20 miles a week, and at times walk 8 to 10 miles up and down hilly asphalt roads in one stretch. I have high arches in addition to a large protruding bunion on one foot, and tingling/ discomfort of toes on the other foot when shoes are too narrow. Before bunion developed, I wore a 9.5 regular width. After spending three days and countless hours trying on running shoes in the store, I finally figured out that the best way to tackle this challenge is to bring my arch inserts with me when trying them on at the store. I found that a women's size 10-wide gave me plenty of width to accommodate bunion and avoid toe pinching, and sufficient space for an arch support insert without having to remove the original foam insert that is secured to the inside of the shoe. ... MoreI walk 15-20 miles a week, and at times walk 8 to 10 miles up and down hilly asphalt roads in one stretch. Anyone with high arches will need to add a separate insert, as the shoe has minimal arch support. It would likely be perfect without an added insert for women with flat feet though. There is just the right amount of cushion so that my feet aren't tired after a 10-mile walk. Happy feet; happy life!
This is the second pair of Asics Contend running shoes that I have purchased as I really loved the first pair. They are very comfortable and supportive. I walk my dog multiple times per day and I just joined a gym where I utilize the treadmill and elliptical machine. These shoes were perfect for this. They do run a half-size small so I purchased a 9 1/2M instead of my usual 9M.
I’m on my feet all day for work and was looking for plain black soft yet supportive footwear. These are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. Before these wear out I will be buying another pair. They are cushioned and pliable yet have a good solid foundation. They are wider fitting than usual trainers and are roomy around the toes. Nothing negative to say about these. I’ve worn them for a couple of weeks every day all day and they still look brand new. Top quality, as expected from Asics
