For the neutral runner, the ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 is the ideal all-round running shoe. Whether you're heading out for a 5km or a slightly longer endurance run; the Gel Cumulus can do it all. The shoe is suitable for both novice and experienced runners. Experience the perfect balance between cushioning and responsiveness with this all-round running shoe! Midsole Experience a softer feeling under your feet thanks to the FF BLAST PLUS foam in the midsole. FF BLAST PLUS technology provides lightweight shock absorption and a responsive feel with every step you take. In addition to the foam in the midsole, this model also has PureGEL technology. This gel from ASICS is specially designed to create shock absorption. The advantage of shock absorption is that it provides extra comfort and reduces the impact on your joints. No matter how many steps you take, great cushioning and comfort is assured. To top it all off, the ORTHOLITE X-30 insole provides comfortable entry with long-lasting cushioning. Open cells in the sole keep your feet cool while running. Upper This shoe is highly breathable thanks to its jacquard mesh upper, which features textured yarns that allow sweat to escape and keep the inside dry. Because the mesh follows every step of the foot, it provides comfort and support. A large part of the upper is recycled, so ASICS strives, among other things, to make its products more sustainable. Outsole The outsole of this shoe consists of two parts. AHARPLUS is used under the heel. This material is three times as durable as a regular rubber outsole. AHARLO is used under the midfoot and forefoot. This material is twice as durable as regular rubber and, due to its spongy structure, also weighs 50% less. By combining these technologies, the outsole has excellent grip and traction. The ASICS Gel Cumulus 25 is the all-rounder that will boost your running experience!

These are comfy however, the cushion seems to be less than the 24s. In addition, the sizing seems to run a little bigger than the 24s as well. I don't know if that's because the cushion is less in these. The 24s felt a little tight on the top of my foot while these 25s do not. I have to lace them tighter to hold. It's a must to double knot these as well, because the laces are thick and slippery, they untie constantly throughout the day.I gave them a 3 star because of the quirks and differences from the previous pair. Also, these have a loop on the back of the shoe where the 24s didn't. Good looking trainer but not comfortable
23 April 2024

Trainer looks and feels really good. It is very light. Perfect for walking or running. I have been wearing ASICS trainers more than four years now. Unfortunately, my regular ASICS trainer was no longer available, I have opted out for this product. Although, i bought same size as my previous ASICS trainer, this product seems to be half a size smaller at the front which causes pain even after 5k. I have decided to use it as my social shoes, still feels painful to stand. I don't know if the company will take it back as faulty product or not. Hence, i decided to give two star. If you still decided to purchase this product make sure you get half a size bigger than your usual size.

Great Shoe for Knee and Foot Problems
27 October 2023

After trying countless models of ASICS running shoes, I finally found the right one for me in the Gel-Cumulus 25. These are so comfortable and supportive straight out of the box, just the right amount of soft cushioning without being too soft. Anyone with bad knees or feet problems knows too much cushioning isn’t a good thing, as it leads to some instability. My only issue (and why I marked my review down to four stars) is with the shoelaces. The slick nylon used in the shoelaces make them constantly come untied. Very frustrating and can at times be a little concerning when working out or even just walking. Please fix this issue!!! Other ASICS models have better shoelace material.

Great value, quality and comfortable
7 September 2024

I bought a pair of these trainers last month after signing up to couch to 5k and completing most of it in an inappropriate pair of trainers. These are so comfortable and I can honestly say that they majorly improvement how I feel whilst running and afterwards. The gel cushioning is extremely comfortable and the grip is great. I've also run in the rain in them and they wash really well too! I almost expected to have blisters the first few times I wore them and ran but I didnt, I also have quite wide square feet and can sometimes find fit hard but these fit like a glove I can't praise them enough for their comfort! Would definitely buy another pair.

Heel Too Wide - Big Change For Cumulus
1 September 2024

I've been running in Asics for 30 years and the Cumulus has been a consistently good shoe for me, however, I am quite dissapointed with the new version since they widened the heal. Its not the same as previous Cumulus designs. Its very different in my opinion. The shoe now feels like its made for motion control and/or heavier runners. The whole sole is wider. Traction is poorer and the shoe is louder. Also, I think Asics might be trying to mimic the dorky Hoka brand with the chunky heel. Not necessary. I'll be looking for a different shoe for my next pair.

New style ASICS feel wonderful
8 November 2023

I have bunions in both feet along with spurs, finding tennis shoes has always been a challenge, but more so now as I've gotten older. It seems that I'm always trying new shoes to see which works for my bone structure of my feet.. other ASIC gel shoes always seemed heavy and too soft . But after spending a few hours trying on different shoes in road runner and walking on the treadmill with them and running around the store I can't believe I love these shoes these actually feel very comfortable on my spurs and my bunions. It gives me a lot of space for my bunions and the fabric stretches around my bunions. I don't feel found or any pressure.. the cushion of the shoe is soft on my phone spurs on the ball of my foot to relieve pressure, but not too soft where they sink ... MoreI have bunions in both feet along with spurs, finding tennis shoes has always been a challenge, but more so now as I've gotten older. Pregnant and Extremely happy with these!
29 July 2024

Got these in the all white, which I wish was actually matched tones, but they're so comfy that I can't even care about it. I'm currently 7.5 months pregnant and these shoes are so supportive and comfy that I really want to wear them 24/7.I also bought two other shoes from Hoka because I heard such good things about them but I returned the Hoka shoes because the comfort level was just NO MATCH for these Asics. I've now worn Asics for all three pregnancies and don't plan on stopping after baby is here. They're just too good!My feet aren't wide, but I needed space by my toes and this specific version was the best for me. I can't recommend it enough, seriously!

Stick with the Gel-Cumulus 24
3 February 2024

I love the Gel-Cumulus 24 so I thought I’d upgrade to the 25. The toe box is much wider; my foot slips around a lot. The heel doesn’t sit all the way back; coupled with the wide toe box by toes slide all the way forward. I found the Gel-Cumulus 25 to be less comfortable than the 24. I’m really bummed that I wasted by time with the new version. It’s also a shame they don’t let you return shoes when you’ve barely worn them (less than five miles) like other brands, i.e. Allbirds and Hoka. These might be great for people with a WIDE foot. If you like the Gel-Cumulus 24, don’t bother buying the 25. Find a different shoe, or buy another pair of 24 before they discontinue them.
