Asics are some of the only shoes I’ve ever been able to run in without getting shin splints. I used to wear the gel nimbus, and I think this shoe might be a little more supportive in the heel area. I also use orthotics- they fit well in these after I remove that thin foam lining that covers the inside bottom of the shoe. Fit true to size. When trying on for size, I’ve learned to put all my weight on one foot and make sure the tip of my thumb (so probably half centimeter-ish) “fits” between the end of my longest toe and the end of the shoe. This gives your toes enough wiggle room when your foot strikes the ground. Love these!

I love these shoes! I had some old Nike shoes I was using for the gym but they did not provide the stability ASICS provide. Running in these is amazing. I like sprinting and wow do they make me feel as if I can sprint even faster. The stability is greate when I do my weight workouts. I have wide feet and they work perfectly for me. I would 1000% recommend these shoes. They also arrived sooner than I expected. I believe I ordered them on a Tuesday and got the shoes that same Friday! Of course I selected expedited delivery but I was quoted that I would get the shoes the following Monday so it was great. Got them in time to go workout!

I replace my ASICS every 1-2 years, as the cushion wears out with all the walking and HIIT type activities I do. Even tho I typically wear a 6 in open toed shoes and 6.5 in closed toed, I wear a 7 in athletic shoes to accommodate foot spread during high impact activities. These are much wider in the toe box than previous ASICS styles I’ve worn. Certainly much wider than the Gel-Contend 7. They were so big i tried the size down (6.5), but I think they would’ve been too short. I decided that it’s better to have them a bit wide. I bought the gray and light blue combo. It’s a good color combo. Overall, I’d recommend.

This shoe is not a good fit for my feet. My standard size is 9.5, but I buy a 10 in running/training shoes because I prefer the extra room. Even with a size 10, this shoe is a bit too short. In addition, it doesn't seem to have been manufactured using a woman's last, meaning it is shaped for a man's foot. Shoes designed for women typically have narrower heels and wider forefoots, but these are too big in the heel and too narrow in the forefoot. In addition, I can't see how these are for training, they provide minimal support at best and zero protection for impact exercises. It's the second pair of Asics I've bought and I had the same problems with the first. They simply don't fit well or provide basic support. I won't buy Asics again.
I have used other popular brands before coming to Asics. I have used Pulse 12 before so I went with 13 blindly. I am very happy with my purchase. The shoe is just amazing for my daily long walks. I have had dorsiflexion issue in my ankle so at times I need to use foot drop splint. I use it on this shoe as well. In addition to the splint, the fitting and the padding in this shoe helps my walk a lot.

I was so worried that I would not be able to walk as the weather warmed up. I decided to try these shoes on when I read ortholite on the tag. I am able to walk 4 miles everyday on different walking paths; concrete, gravel, black top, dirt and rock. My feet ddo not hurt the entire time. It seemed this sneaker might not be able to take my high impact workouts at the gym, but so far I've been able to wear them for kickboxing, dancing, weights and walking. I'm not a runner, so I can't speak on that. They are so comfortable and ASICS have been my go-to shoe for decades. I've only owned one other Pulse sneaker before. This one has more cloth, flexibility and the heel is a bit higher.
The shoes are very comftarble, feels like im walking on clouds. The colour of these shoes goes really well with jeans. Perfect shoes if you are into running, they are well fitted to your foot. Usually with running shoes your foot will hurt after long periods of running but with these it doesnt. I couldnt recommend them enough to anyone who is looking for running shoes or even everyday shoes!
