Ordered to wear around with casual outfits/dresses. Shoes are super cute but killed my feet. I assumed they would offer some comfort with the "ortholite" but they didn't. I purchased some new insoles to find out the ones in the shoes were not removable. I peeled them out and put mine in. This makes them more comfortable but still they seem very stiff and only wear for short periods of time. I would have returned them but since I had worn them out the first time I didn't think I could.

I bought these because I was looking for a pair of casual sneakers that would last a couple of seasons. I've been wearing them pretty much every day for the last month, and they've held up well so far. They're extremely comfortable and easy to clean (a damp paper towel does the trick on the leather part. The rubber may require some gentle scrubbing with a toothbrush). I will say that they do seem to run slightly small. I'm a solid 7.5 across brands and styles, sometimes even a 7. I ordered these in 7.5, and they just barely fit. I'm happy with the fit because they've stretched out a bit and have molded to my foot as I've worn them, but if you're planning to wear thicker socks or you typically fall between sizes, definitely go up a half size.

Not the case with asics japan S, shoe fits comfortably and cam be worn all day!Would definitely recommend.Also the new aqua colour is super cute, and I love that the base of the shoe is off white.

These shoes are super cute but not as comfortable as I was expecting. There’s no support, they need a lot more cushion, especially in the heel. I wore them for a full day and my right heel still hurts a week later. They’re taking a long time to break in. Maybe they need a gel lining like my other Asics.
I my first pair two years ago and buying them brand new again reminded me how much I love them. They are so freaking comfortable and I knew exactly what size I needed. They are also relatively easy to clean and I wore them in the rain so often without getting wet feet (it does make them dirty though!). Can't recommend them enough, a very fair price and fabulous shoes. I also got so many compliments on them.
These are a great retro style but… the tongue on the right shoe keeps sliding to the right during wear. I called customer service and was told to put one part of the laces under the tongue and that would secure it. Yes it does but the laces under dig into my foot. Not a solutionI’d like to exchange them but already tossed the box.ASICS have been my go to but this is the second pair that have disappointed. Additionally the insole is pretty nonsupportive. I wish I could have help from ASICS to find a good replacement.
Great looking shoes but the design for the shape is wrong. The heels slip a lot and cause a lot of rubbing. I am still trying to wear them in after 2 weeks (and very blistered heels). A friend also got the men’s version and has experienced the same problem, perhaps these need to be sized down?
The shoes look exactly the same as in the photo, the colors are not very bright, just slight shadows of pink and green. The quality of the material seems to be good, the sneaker are not very wide. Sadly they were too big for me, even thought size 40 was a bit small. Probably just not my type of the shoes. I recommend these shoes but be careful with the size :)
Love these trainers so so comfy. Third pair I own (I'm different colours) and will continue to buy. I can struggle with trainers rubbing on my little toes but no complaints here. Nice comfy sole so can walk for alot longer than in normal 'dress' trainers. Wore one pair in New York and so so light on my feet
Super comfy and cute shoe! I love the look and it was comfortable to wear right out of the box. If you wear Asics running shoes (and size up for those), I recommend going w your regular size for the Japan S design. I have a slightly narrow foot and wear a size 9 in most shoes and the size 9 fits perfectly when laced. I have been looking for a sneaker w a bit of style at Nike, Adidas, New Balance, etc. to wear out, and I am really happy with this purchase and design. I got the Japan S in white/camel beige and the color is true to what it looks like online. Highly recommended for a cute shoe to wear w your favorite jeans/dresses/skirts/shorts/sweats.
