Don’t recommend. Bone bruising.
First time wearing netburners for outdoor netball. Usually I wear kayanos but the new 3D tech in them really wasn’t suitable for the change of direction required for netball. The flat nature and minimum support these netburners provided me on an outdoor court actually caused heel bruising and fat pad issues. In addition, the grip wore off within one wear. Don’t recommend for outdoor netball.... Show more

Fantastic arch support
I used to wear professionals but my last 2 pair felt too snug around my toes. I’m not a wide foot but felt constrained across the top of my foot. I went up half a size to allow for my ankle braces and the Shields are GREAT. Lightweight but feel sturdy and strong. The arch is a different feel to my other runners but I love it and how the shoe moulds around my foot. It’s taking some lace adjustment to get them just right for my little toe not to feel squished but it’s worth the readjusting until they’re just right. Plenty of big toe room and solid support around the heel. Great shoe for wearing without my braces too, when I’m coaching. I won’t be looking to change my style of netburner for a long time if the Shield stays like this. I haven’t had them long enough to ... I haven’t had them long enough to give a valid durability score but I’m wearing them on both indoor and outdoor court surfaces.... Show more

Great netty shoes!
I bought these after wearing the Super FFs for a number of years. I was a bit concerned that the arch may be too high for my flat feet but they are perfect. The fit around the heel is much better than the Supers, and overall feels more snug and supportive. They are really light but still very cushioned. They are great on indoor and outdoor surfaces. I love them so much I’ve bought a second pair. One downside is that the material around the inside heel is already starting to show signs of wear after only 4 games, so it will be interesting to see if they last the season.... Show more

Poor Quality
Purchased these because they were described by Asics as 'durable'. Have owned them for 8 days. Worn for two outdoor games, and one indoor game and the orange sole has peeled off under the front of foot. They are now unwearable. Never have i had such poor quality shoes. Will be returning them.... Show more

[Rewarded Review] Excellent for Netball!
These are super comfy to wear. I recently just started up netball again and the trainers I originally had were ASICS ones but I don’t believe they were legit netball shoes so I then considered these Shield FFs and omg they’re a game changer!I’ve had no more issues with injuries or blisters. When running around I feel more stable and the support in my ankles is great! I would highly recommend sizing up by half a size, I did and they fit perfectly. If I’d have gone for my usual size (UK 6) they’d have been too tight.Obsessed with them and the colour is gorgeous as well! Definitely worth it and recommend if you play a lot of netball!... The most comfortable shoe worn
I bought these for my daughter. She already has asics netball shoes but this time we chose something with arch support. She rates these are the best ever shoes she has owned. They are an amazing supportive fit and unbelievably comfortable. Asics wear remarkably well and are definitely worth every cent.... Show more

Top Performance and Good Comfort
Excellent performance shoes. Bought them prior to going to Masters, played at least 10 games in one week in them, and they felt stable and light, durable and assisted movement on court so I could defend or attack with confidence in their response. Comfortable cushioning for a netball shoe! Highly recommend.... Show more

Unfortunately not for me
I bought these on the recommendation of 2 ASICS staff, to wear when playing indoor Pickleball (new player to this game) although a podiatrist recommended a different ASICS (Gel Kayano). I went with the recommendation from the ASICS staff as I thought they would know their shoes better than a podiatrist, and what specificASICS shoe would best suit feet peculiarities and foot pains. I have mid foot arthritis in 1 foot, and get aching feet after 3 hours on my feet, and always wear very supportive footwear. Sadly, my feet were aching after playing pickle ball for 1 hour and I had to stop playing at 1.5 hrs. Not a cheap shoe to buy when it doesn’t help. I would love to try the Gel Kayano, but it becomes an extremely expensive exercise... Show more

Well worth the money
Huge improvement over my previous ASICS shoes. I’m not slipping on the court and have better ankle/foot support. Actually noticed an improvement in my performance too as I trust the shoes have me covered. Also mention the blue is absolutely gorgeous colour. Highly recommend... Show more

Worth the price
I bought these shoes starting up netball again after a few years off the court. I don’t regret going all in and buying these even when I was unsure I was going to stick out the season! My knees naturally pronate and I’ve had problems with patella tracking so the very high arches of these really assist in keeping my leg in a good position when landing and minimises lateral movement when pivoting and changing direction running. It was something I noticed as soon as I put on the shoe and liked straight away. I haven’t felt fatigue in the lower limbs either, there seems to be just enough cushioning in the heel and a light front of the shoe and upper lining allows for fast paced movement with less bulk / weight to move… adjustable lacing supports the ankle well, sitting ...
