The TPS 520 Evo GTX Wide by Asolo is developed for serious comfort, stability and durability in a men’s hiking boot. With a high quality leather outer and Gore-Tex waterproofing over technical sole and cushioning, this boot holds versatility across day hikes, backpacking and expeditions in the wildest corners of the globe. The upper is a construction of tough 2.8mm full grain leather and a Gore-Tex lining that is both waterproof and breathable. Additional protection for your toes is provided with a toe cap over the front of the boot. The TPS (Triple Power Structure) sole combines a supportive high density foam with a comfortable low density, this balances your boot’s control, shock absorption and cushioning over short to long treks with light to heavy loads. Gripped with a molded rubber outsole produced in conjunction with Vibram , the balance of the outsole has self-cleaning lugs designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain. Underfoot the boot has a consistent firm torsional support throughout the sole to keep you stable and in control, developing softer flex points over time when breaking in the boot to your own personal stride.
