It achieves that, but it’s rough around the edges.! More questions you might have if you're interested in playing it !- Is the parkour fun? -The thing that I like the most about the parkour system in Assassin’s Creed is that it feels like something that you could do in real life, again ignoring the haystack thing. Comparing it with how modern Assassin’s Creed games do parkour, I think this one is better at making you think about how you move, overall it’s fun but buggy.- Can I be stealthy? -The “stealth” system in this game is bare bones. I like the idea of “hiding in plain sight” using crowds of people, but it could really use some more polishing. Ubisoft fixed this problem on Assassin’s Creed 2. As for this game, being stealthy is something that you may be forced to do from time to time, but you won’t necessarily enjoy it.- At least fighting stuff is enjoyable, right? -The combat is simple, a little bit too simple for my taste. Again the system is fun, stiff and buggy, but fun.Rating: 2.8/5 (3 stars)Full Review: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/UnitedCritics/discussions/0/4312743731812243176/

It's all a lot of fun, and each one gives you 1 point! After racking up 15 points, you essentially get a heart container of sorts. So there's a ton to do in the game, but no reason to do them. It could have been SO good, but it falls short. This is my first Assassin's Creed game, and I look forward to playing the rest of the series! Overall I'd give it a 6/10, with 5 being middle of the road. It's fun to run around and just stab people randomly, and to learn about the hits and see ancient Mesopotamia in all it's glory, but the collectables fal short

The game is okay. It's soooo repetitive jumping off things and being a parkour wizarding ninja. Sometimes you just want to go full bore with slice and dice action, unfortunately the game is built on silence and stealth. A little yawn and snooze fest if you ask me.

My first assassins creed game was this one. The jumping from heights and landing below in a haystack felt so real. I am generally afraid of heights and this game always made my feet tingle when I made the jump. My heart would race everytime that's how real and absorbed in the game you would get when playing this.

A Grand Theft Auto player must have game!

Stepping off a boat in the shoes of illegal immigrant Niko Bellic as he arrives in Liberty City at the start of Grand Theft Auto IV, you can tell immediately that Rockstar North's latest offering is something quite special. Yes, this is another GTA game in which you'll likely spend the bulk of your time stealing cars and gunning down cops and criminals, but it's also much more than that. GTAIV is a game with a compelling and nonlinear storyline, a game with a great protagonist who you can't help but like, and a game that boasts a plethora of online multiplayer features in addition to its lengthy story mode. It's not without some flaws, but GTAIV is undoubtedly the best Grand Theft Auto yet. One of the many things that set GTAIV apart from its predecessors is Liberty City, which is more convincing as a living, breathing urban environment than anything that you've seen in a game before, and bears little resemblance to its namesake in 2001's GTAIII. Liberty's diverse population believably attempts to go about its daily business, seemingly unaware that several criminal factions are at war in the city. Niko has no such luck. He's compelled to start working for one of the factions shortly after arriving, when he learns that his cousin Roman has some potentially fatal gambling debts.Niko's military experience makes him a useful freelancer for employers in the business of killing each other, and though his reluctance to carry out their orders is often apparent, he does whatever is asked of him in the hope that completing missions for other people will ultimately give him the means to complete his own. Actually, Niko doesn't have to do everything that is asked of him. On several occasions as you play through his story, you'll be presented with decisions that afford you the option of doing what you think is right rather than blindly following instructions. You don't necessarily have to kill a target if he or she promises to disappear, but you have to weigh the risk of your employer finding out against the possibility that the person whose life you spare might prove useful later in the game, or even have work for you in the form of bonus missions. To say anything more specific on this subject would be to risk spoiling one of GTAIV's most interesting new features, but suffice it to say that every decision you make has consequences, and you'll likely want to play through the game at least twice to see how the alternatives unfold. Grand Theft Auto IV's story mode can be beaten in less than 30 hours, and there are so many optional activities and side missions totake part in along the way that you can comfortably double that number if you're in no hurry. The majority of the story missions task you with making deliveries and/or killing people, and play out in much the same way as those in previous games. With that said, most of the missions are a lot easier this time around, partly because Niko is a more agile and efficient killer than any of his predecessors, and partly because the LCPD seemingly has better things to do than hunt down an illegal immigrant who's gunning down undesirables all over the city. Some of the more imaginative missions sprinkled throughout the story include a kidnapping, a bank heist, and a job interview. The cinematic cutscenes associated with story missions are superbly presented and are the sequences in which the game's characters really shine. Without exception, the characters you encounter benefit from great animation, great voice work, and superbly expressive faces. They're not always so impressive when they join you on a mission and refuse to do what they're supposed to (for example, not following you on an escort mission, or failing to negotiate a doorway). Nevertheless, these problems are few and far between, and they're made less painful by the new "replay mission" option that you're presented with whenever you fail. If you're wondering about differences between the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Grand Theft Auto IV, the truth is that there aren't many. The PS3 version can only be played after a mandatory install that takes around 10 minutes, and its load times are a little shorter and less frequent as a result. The visuals, which don't always hold up to close scrutiny but are impressive during typical gameplay, In case you haven't guessed already, Grand Theft Auto IV is a game that you simply have to play. The single-player game, which you can still play long after you complete the story, is the series' best by far, and the multiplayer features are good enough that you'll likely have no problem finding people to play with for many months to come. The minor flaws that you'll experience are no more difficult to overlook than those in previous GTA games, and they're greatly outnumbered by the features that will impress and surprise you anytime you think you've already seen everything that the game has to offer. There's lots to see in Liberty City, so you'd best get started.

Assassin's Creed- A Defining Series of This Generation

Assassin's Creed (the series) follows the tales of Desmond Miles, a former Assassin captured by a scientific industry corporation called Abstergo. Abstergo wants Desmond to connect to a machine called the Animus that will allow him to travel back in time through his Ancestor's genetic coding to relive the events of their past, that will then allow the scientists to view genetic information and the events that transpired. Abstergo wants Desmond to connect to a machine called the Animus that will allow him to travel back in time through his Ancestor's genetic coding to relive the events of their past, that will then allow the scientists to view genetic information and the events that transpired. In this game (Assassin's Creed 1) you go back in time to play as your ancestor named Altair (Alt-ai-eer) an Assassin during Medieval times during the Crusades. You first start off exploring Templar caverns in the search for the Holy Grail. Templar's and Assassin's have had a long-standing rivalry. Assassin's although methods are questionable, are there to preserve the peace by eliminating corrupt leaders and followers to keep bad events from happening. Templar's, although their method's seem more reasonable are using religion to disguise their ultimate goals, taking over the world and it's people by finding historical relics with magic powers called 'Pieces of Eden'. The Holy Grail being one of these items. Assassin's follow a specific creed (hence the title of this game), and your assassin, Altair, breaks this creed while exploring the caverns. When he returns to his home, his Assassin leader strips him of all of his ranks. From this point you must work your way back up the Assassin rankings by eliminating corrupt leaders that are supporting the Templar's. This is the basic plot of the first game, and an amazing one at that. Throughout the entire game you will explore huge cities, mountain peaks, small towns, etc. There are many collectibles throughout this game as well, flags spread throughout specific locations, Templar guards, Templar flags (which are spread throughout the whole game), and genetic coding that must be completed in a certain order to unlock all links of the coding. Assassin's Creed is a huge game if you go for all of these collectibles, and incredibly challenging at times, however with such a huge game there are several apparent problems. The missions you do throughout towns and cities (which are required to take down the corrupt leaders) are very repetitive, only giving you about 10-15 specific missions total. Some towns have different missions, but ultimately it stays the same throughout the entire game. Making gameplay monotonous when doing these missions. The combat (although fun for about the first half of the game) also gets extremely repetitive, and at times is near impossible to escape from. The visuals for this game are amazing, however there are some differences between the 360 and PS3 version visually. The 360 version is a bit more detailed (which is no longer an issue with the 2nd game). Overall I recommend any version for whichever console that works for you, however if you do want the best visuals on a home console, go for the 360 version. Assassin's Creed is a defining game and series for this generation amongst those of Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears of War, and Uncharted. I give Assassin's Creed an 8.0/10 for the 360, and 7.7/10 for the PS3 for somewhat noticeable graphical differences.

Start of something amazing. This game was the introduction of a rich and varied history for assassins creed. From the free form game play to the fantastic narrative that mixed the future and history into one. It was something to behold at the time and despite being repetitive at times, was a lot of fun to play and experience. Get it and see what started it all!

The scenery is stunning. The story line is compelling. The naval combat a total gasser. An outstanding effort overall. The ONLY thing that I felt could have been much better was the inability to save at more convenient places. Having to start missions over and over and over and over again until you finally get it right was, at times, infuriating.
