1080p Upgrade

Upgrading from a RX 570 8GB shows a great uplift in performance. Originally i was running games like Valorant and Apex Legends at low/competitive settings. After swapping cards i decided to switch to the highest settings possible in 1080 and was happy to see I'm getting higher frame rate with higher detail.I did attempt to look for videos of my CPU and GPU demonstrated but could not find any. While Afterburner shows I'm not bottlenecked by my CPU a platform upgrade would not be as hard to save for if I come across a more demanding game in future. Making this leap from a 2017 card was worth it.

Purchased an open box version of this and it has been excellent so far. It's a 1080p beast vs any similarly priced Nvidia GPU and more up to date. Also handles some games at 1440p decently at Non-Ultra settings -- but your mileage may vary. Ray tracing is not this GPU's specialty though, but what sub $300 card is right now?

Better than what I had but not quite what I hoped

I don't know if I got a dud or what's going on but I'm both happy and unhappy with this graphics card. To start things off I had to do a lot of driver installing, uninstalling, then installing again before it performed even slightly moderately. Not quite as plug and play and my previous GPUs. Once I got it working, it definitely updated my graphics but I'm not running max or ultra settings on any game. In all, my lower ratting is not so much for the results of this GPU by it self but in comparison to the 8 year old gpu I had before. My previous GPU ran smoothly so long long as everything was pretty much on medium settings, meanwhile this GPU is only running smoothly in a mix of medium/high settings. So basically I didn't even get a full step up, let alone 2 steps up to reach ultra settings. I'm sure if you have a newer processor you will likely get better results, but I personally still have to do a lot of twinkling to get to reach it's full potential.

Does the job.

In had an Nvidia 650Ti (4gig/1030GPU).The card feels hefty in your hands and I see they put finishing on the plastic case; it looks nice.So I played my older game, the original Dying Light with everything on highest settings at 1920x1080 and the Adrenalin software included said my average frame rate was 175 FPS !Before I was getting 35.This card is the real deal.If you play at 1080p you will not be unhappy.Oh, and the fans are quiet. My GTX 650Ti had one fan and was loud.

Outstanding
17 January 2022

This graphics card is really good, runs everything that I wanted with ease. I am not really a power user, but I have been playing Halo INFINTE on ultra settings and it hasn't skipped a beat, and solidworks and keyshot renderings are snappy too in comparison to the previous card of 4gb I had installed. The drivers and utilities AMD and Asus offer are really easy to use and tinker with, but for the most part I like to have things quiet and it does so! Highly recommend if you are a casual to regular gaming buff who is looking to run games and other software, but isn't trying to break any records with it.

Quiet, killer Performance. Current $$ awesome!

Managed to get one for and finally finish my Daughter's gaming rig. AsRock Razer Edition B550 / AMD 5600G / Asus RX 6600...core stuff. This Card absolutely compliments the setup. The RX 6600 is exceptional value at MSRP or just slightly over, given the market at the moment. Performs outstanding at 1080p and also very well at 1440p. I got this a little over MSRP but the card is again outstanding and with the price point to performance, you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks Microcenter for actually having stock and not pricing this out of the everyday users budget!

Really Good GPU
11 January 2022

The RX6600 may not be the more powerful version of the AMD cards, but this card can hold its own weight. Coming with 8GB of VRAM, there’s more options in games for higher graphics and better frames. The card also gets to use AMD’s FidelityFX. The cooling is dual fan but if your Case has enough fans, cooling shouldn’t really be a problem. Never once has it gone past 70 degrees Celsius playing most games on the highest to high settings, getting frames in the hundreds.

Really enjoying the experience.

So for reference, I'm 16 and just now "finished" building my first PC. I'd bought this on a whim because I saw it was at stock and at a very nice, low price. Before this, I'd been skating by with a 8 y/o GT 740 straight from my cousin and the experience was what you'd expect. Upon putting this new card in, I was really surprised how better every game fps was doing at even ultra high. my older brother's 1070 ti looked pretty lame compared to it even. I'd totally buy this again given the chance. I think the only things I'd change with this is I really wish it had a little bit of rgb on it and wish thebackplate would extend over the power connectors. I'd recommend this to someone else but If I had enough money to buy a ROG or TUF gpu, I'd totally go for that instead ... MoreSo for reference, I'm 16 and just now "finished" building my first PC. Very good and worth the price

I would recommend this card when prices goes down. On my side 600 $ CAD was worth cause I know I'll have a good time. It's a great card and It's a great gaming experience. I had a RX 550 4gb and upgrading to this card really changed everything. Max settings on every game I play and I don't think I will change GPU soon. Would recommend. decent card, runs games well
29 January 2022

I mostly play older games, but after upgrading from my RX 580 from power color to this card AMD software no longer says my card is at 100% utilization and the fans don't constantly run at full either, I'm pleasantly surprised at the difference. It runs Halo infinite very well with almost no fan rev and Mechwarior Online just as well. Fallout 4 seemed to push higher GPU utilization, but still well below 100%. The price is a little high for what I'd like, but I can't really complain considering the current situation.
