Such a great laptop, can operate nice and quite for programming and can handle the latest games with no problems at all. Fans can get noisy when gaming but you have to expect that with the amount of power this has in a small package.

I purchased this for professional workflows in industrial design, photography and games development. Here are my key takeaways:- Performance is fantastic for a laptop. Although a 12th gen i7-12700H would perform better than this AMD 6900HS, the AMD and 3080 combination is a great balance between efficiency, graphical power, and thermals. The laptop does run warm, but with a full load on both CPU and GPU, I've seen the CPU max out at 85 and GPU around 70 (Unreal Engine 5). A concern is that it does blow hot air directly onto the bottom bezel of the screen. Because this machine is thinner and lighter than its competitors, some 3070TI laptops may get better performance, but are much heavier and clumsy to carry around. The charger for this laptop is large and heavy, but not offensively so.- I don't game, but I did try Hitman 3 on ultra, and at full QHD resolution, and got around 80-110FPS.- Screen is fantastic, color accurate after calibration, and the 165hz is a bonus. It may not be bright enough for outdoor use, but overall it has been enjoyable. However, my unit does have backlight bleed that started off quite bad, but has subsided over the past few weeks.- Speakers and microphone were shockingly decent. They're not as good as a Macbook, but in the top 5% of PCs that I have tried. Windows Hello face recognition for login is a bonus too.The only negatives I can think of is that stability has been a mixed bag. When installing driver updates directly from AMD or Nvidia, I have had a few instances when the laptop has frozen and has had to be rebooted. But I rolled them back to the official Asus versions and this hasn't happened since. I would advise only updating drivers via Asus. Also, sleep mode does not work on this laptop, as the fans will spin very silently when in 'sleep'. This is a known problem with this laptop, and I wouldn't consider this a deal breaker.I would recommend this laptop for anyone who needs a Windows workhorse for any 3D rendering, animation, architecture, CAD or product design. If you are just looking to game, save your money and get something with a 3070TI and a 12th Gen Intel. If you need the best CPU performance, a 12th gen Intel i7 will still be better overall, but that's like comparing a straight 6 with a V6. Depending on the circumstance, they trade blows back and forth.
