Asus ROG Falchion NX 65% Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (ROG NX: Brown)

The keyboard feels solid.The switches feel amazing, to the point I loaded up type racer for a couple gamesI brought this for couch gaming so the wireless range is important to me and this keyboard does the job excellentlyAll in all I prefer this over my ducky one and pretty much any keyboard I’ve used.It’s the best yo!!

Awful software

Physically this is a fantastic keyboard, it feels sturdy, it’s lovely and compact plus it has the battery indicator on the side. Unfortunately this is all completely overshadowed by how awful the software is. It’s not just clunky/ unfriendly it’s full of bugs with no fixes online. I could handle clunky and hard to use. I’ve got 2 pcs, one had numerous issues getting the software downloaded, the other downloaded it no issues but then had issues getting it to show the keyboard to set up the lighting (it randomly started working). Eventually I was able to get it downloaded on my main PC but whatever I do I cannot set up custom lighting to use when at my main PC.

Great Keyboard, Terrible Software

They keyboard itself is very nice and asus seem to be one of the only ones currently selling a 65% keyboard. However, it is completely let down by the abysmal piece of rubbish that is armoury crate, the asus software you have to install to fully configure it.I get one run out of it after a clean install before it refuses to open ever again.Thankfully you can do a lot from just the keyboard itself, changing profiles, recording macros, led brightness etc. You need the software once for a firmware update, set any custom lighting profiles and syncing to onboard memory etc then I recommend you just reinstall windows so you can be fully assured that there is no remnant of armoury crate left.The addition of the touch bar is nice for either zoom or volume control, and ... MoreThey keyboard itself is very nice and asus seem to be one of the only ones currently selling a 65% keyboard. I would recommend getting a TKL sized wrist rest for it though as I found it slightly uncomfortable for long periods of time without one.Battery life is good, you get at least 10 extra hours if you set LED brightness to 75% instead of 100% and you can barely tell the difference.Even with armoury crate, I would still recommend this keyboard.

It's great, unless you need lighted keys

Very well built, clever design, but they took away a lot of keys and while they're available with the Fn key, they don't light up. There's no lighting for shifted key symbols, either. So if you play in dim lighting, you might want a flashlight handy.Otherwise, a great short keyboard. That extra row of keys is wonderful, the arrow keys are useable, and it leaves room on my desk for my coffee mug.

Pros: I got the NX browns and they have a nice sound and feel. The keyboard feels really solid with the aluminium backplate. The touch bar is really cool and supports 5 different gestures. The keyboard cover is a nice addon. Asus know how to make great stuff.Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Pros: Great 60% keyboard with 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. Nice PBT keycaps, good-looking RGB and to top it off, a unique feature of side-touch bar that's quite useful for battery-tracking, setting macros etc.Cons: Lack of bluetooth connectivity for better wireless compatibility.

Pros: quality of the device and its well build design—perfect size for the minimalist expectation. satisfying typing experienceCons: The interactive touch panel is positioned in an inconvenient location. tend to keep touching there without intention. this could be for me only. I use the tab and escape key a lot in my day-to-day job, so my three of fingers always touch the side of the keyboard where the interactive touch panel is positioned.

Pros: Very compact and minimalist keyboardWell built and sturdyKeys feel nice (using NX Red switches)Nice RGB effects which can be controlled by the keyboard and the software on WindowsCons: I really wish the keyboard was a tiny bit wider to allow the right shift key to be a bit wider. The right shift key is noticeably smaller so will take some time to adjust to.The spacebar is the only key which I get noticeable pinging sound.Sometimes I touch the volume bar by mistake.

Very Pleased

I am used to large keyboards with numpads etc, so was a bit apprehensive downsizing to a 65% keyboard. But its just so easy to get used to and I really like the free space I now have on the desk. The brown switches I much prefer compared to the red ones of my old keyboard, however they are much louder so just consider that. I like that the compactness of it means that I can pick it up and take it with my laptop.

Pros: Wow. Asus have done it again. I love Asus products. They are the best at what they do. What a great keyboard. The brown switch is perfect. The RGB is beautiful. I love the small size for my limited size desk. I can definitely recommend.Cons: Wasn't free.
