I went into Micro Center at open on a Saturday to pick up a mobo/processor combo for my new graphics card. I'd finally gotten lucky enough to score a 3060 online...which was not exactly what I wanted, but it's what I could get.I was stunned to see some of these in the case. I'm not sure how often they get these in stock, but I felt like I'd hit the jackpot. I wish I'd tried coming into the store sooner. Honestly after months of following online drops and looking at the ridiculous lines outside of stores for hours on end it's kind of ironic to see just how painless it was to find a card when a retailer actually cares about its customers. Thank you Micro Center for taking a hard line on one GPU per customer per month and keeping the stock in-store. If other retailers did this I think normal gamers would have more of a chance. As for the card, it's beautiful. I love the addressable RGB feature and the extra fans keep the card nice and cool. The highest I've seen the temp go is 63C so far. The build of the card feels super solid. This is even longer than my old GTX 970 which felt huge when I got it, but the 3070 has no sag when installed—it's super sturdy.I game at 1440p and while I haven't tried any games with raytracing (because I don't have any at the moment), I'm floored at how good & smooth everything looks so far. The monitor I have right now is only 60hz, but when I turned of FPS capping, I was easily getting 100+ fps in Borderlands 3.One thing to note with this card is that there's protective plastic film on everything. The fan centers, the metal accents, the sides. Some of it is on so tight you can't even quite see it. You'll probably want some needle-nose tweezers or a plastic spudger to get the edges of it up so you can peel it off!

I have been searching for a new GPU for months now, as we all have. I finally grabbed one and I am amazed at how it stays exceptionally cool and shrugs off anything I throw at it performance wise. The staff at microcenter helped me a with my choice and were very personable. The whole experience from purchasing to asking questions of the staff to finally installing into my rig and using the card were great. Definitely recommend this card for others due to the performance for the price coupled with its wonderful aesthetic.

Excellent design and performance for a good price. This GPU is so quiet I dont even believe its cooling but it stays in the 30s & 40s Celsius, and even under load I can barely hear the fans. It performs great too because its under the reliable Asus brand. I tried others and they can be glitchy, but not this one.

I got lucky after popping into the local MC at opening for a few weeks, and landed this card. It performs as advertised - plays everything I've tried at top settings at 2k /144 and never breaks 70c in a Fractal Design Define 7 case with stock fans. The card looks beautiful in this white case and has a nice pastel-tinted RGB effect that syncs up with my TUF B550 pro mb out of the box. I haven't bothered to customize it yet because it looks great. My card is built a little sketchily. The two halves of the shell are further apart than they should be so it looks a bit wonky. But it performs perfectly and the cooling is fine, so I'm happy to have it. You wouldn't notice unless you looked closely and knew what you were looking for anyhow. It comes with a weird super ... If wearing strix-branded super bowl style rings on your sausage hands is your jam, this card will blow your mind. Otherwise it's a great card that looks sweet and should serve you well for years to come.
This card was purchased to accommodate my Samsung Odyssey G9 which requires an RTX 20xx or greater to support 10bit color in windows through the use of compressed video streaming through the displayport 1.4 connection. The card is handling many of my games at 5120x1440 at high settings with over 60 FPS. Specifically I'm seeing ultra settings in final fantasy 14 online at peak hours in heavily populated areas show 71 FPS and not so populated areas at peak times are 93 FPS all in 5120x1440 resolution. With borderlands 2 I'm getting high 50s low 60s which is a touch better than what the rtx 2080 is reported in many benchmark websites. Over all its great, but I was hoping for a 3080 overclocked or TI edition. This card feels like an improvement over my 1080, but like ... Over all its great, but I was hoping for a 3080 overclocked or TI edition. This card feels like an improvement over my 1080, but like I'll need a replacement by the time 4080 comes along, vs a 3080 lasting me until the 5080 comes along.Overall it performs better than I thought considering I went from a gtx 680 to 1080ti and the 680 was almost as powerful as that generations 1070.All in all worth the money if you can avoid scalpers and cannot get your hands on the 3080. Just be aware the card is massive compared to my GTX 1080 ti. Difficult to fit into the case of my computer and I have a massive cooler case. Once in place though there is notable performance increase even from this generations 2080 to the 3070. Once games support DLSS for 5120x1440 resolution FPS will climb even higher allowing for max settings at over 60 FPS
This card is great. It runs quiet and extremely cool, topping out at 61 degrees in my O11 Mini. Performance is great and the out of the box RGB rainbow effect looks very nice. However, there are some issues that impact the overall experience with the card. The first is that if you want to customize the RGB light strip, no matter what you try it can only display one color at a time. This makes no sense as the card has a rainbow pattern out of the box. I ended up just removing all customization and kept the default rainbow pattern that you can see in the picture. The second issue is that there is some sort of driver issue that is causing stuttering in games. If you manage to get a 30 series card, make sure to use DDU to completely clean your computer of graphics ... MoreThis card is great. As the title stands, I absolutely recommend any RTX 3070 for your target resolution 1440p. My reason to grab the ASUS GPU is because the bracket (hardly see the sag because of the extra screws). I want to give it 5 stars, but I gave it a 4 stars because of the price. When I purchased the card, it was too high, but I got it to upgrade my GTX 1070 TI (above 90% increase in performance). If I have to nit-pick (only one), I wish the card was white for my authentic build.
This card's ROG Strix style looks amazing, it's a great looking card and matches my Strix motherboard. Comes in a nice looking box too. Looks are all well and good but it's the performance that matters most. ASUS is using a chunky 2.9-slot design on the ROG Strix RTX 3070 graphics card, but it is using it to good effect here. It's a thick card, but it looks mean as Hell and has the performance numbers and noise levels to prove it. A lot of that room is used to good effect for cooling and it works, this card runs at very low temps and is very very quiet. It runs every game that I throw at it at ultra settings. Before deciding on this card I looked at all the reviews I could find on thirty eight 3070 cards from different manufacturers and this card came out top in nearly every test and with the build quality you would expect with Strix beating the competition hands down. And although this already comes factory overclocked out of the box it has plenty of headroom for further overclocking thanks to its superior component quality. The quality of those components is reflected in the cost though, which is the only downside for this card, as it averages out to around 100 more than some of it's competitors. Not sure of the MRRP card at the moment, certainly not after the high prices that we saw recently! Currently listed on the ASUS website @ 739.99 and the cheapest I could find in stock was 699.95 at Overclockers. At that price point you may want to consider if it is worth paying a little more for an RTX 3080! I was very lucky in that I was the only bidder in an auction which had a starting price of 499.99 for a Brand New Card and both I and the seller were very surprised that there were no other bidders. At that price this card was an absolute bargain as pre-owned ones were (and still are at the time of writing) going for a lot more than that, let alone a new one! If you are set on getting a RTX 3070 and you can find this card at the right price then I would highly recommend that you get it, I am certainly glad that I did. Oh! It also has RGB if that's your thing.
I was so excited after months of shopping in person and online to find this product for retail price. Micro Center wasn't just the only place, but once I walked in the store (for my first time) I was immediately helped by numerous personnel. With directions, accessing past the locked cabinets, and checking out my visit was shorter than 2minutes. This is great considering how insanely busy the store was. After this experience I am solely going to use Micro Center for my PC and electronic needs. Thanks y'all!!!Oh and the product itself was everything I was searching for. It's a great product, but to be honest the only reason I am leaving a review was do to my experience at Micro Center. I'd known for a while what I wanted. The fact that they actually had it, and it was in my PC within an hour after turning into their parking lot was what's deserves the 5th star. Anyone can stock an item. Few businesses are able to make you glad that you went there.
What i liked: 1)powerful for 2k content/games. 2)silent and 0db fan mode does exist. 3)easy overcklockable 4)temperatures are the best from rtx 3070 gpus 5)white edition is gorgeous! 6)includes lot of outputs for multimonitoring setup and can play all of them on 4k without any problem. I didnt like: 1)size and common mega-sized gpu problem-sagging. Very heavy toy! 2)Asus software- lagging and sometimes consumes cpu usage up to 80% for a second. 3) coil whine if you have a very bad power supply! Only 80+ gold -minimum standarts if efficiency recommended
