I built my second rig using this case and was amazed by everything this case has to offer. Just the graphics and the tempered glass panels make this case a show piece on all on its own. 420mm rads up front, 360mm rads up top and a kit to vertically mount your GPU included. A built in GPU bracket and more room and then anyone should ever need to house your PSU cables. After building in this case you’ll be hard pressed not to buy a second one.

It's a beautiful computer case, easy to build in, easy to cable manage. It's well made, sturdy and HEAVY. The straps at the top are really useful for carrying it around, but they may be interfering with the exhaust capability if you put exhaust fans or radiador on the top. Thermals are better than expected, my 3080 v2 and my 12900k runs within specs temperatures, as well as the rest of the components. The graphics card antisag solution is not the best, is a tiny piece that can't do too much, it needs to be improved although my graphics card is not sagging. Noise levels are acceptable, the fans that comes with the case are connected to a controller with two modes, you can choose between them for better cooling or better noise. If you're the kind of person that buys all Strix, why are you even reading the reviews? You're going to buy this case anyway. This is a fanboy case, plain and simple. There's probably cheaper options out there. But they're not a Strix Helios, so they don't matter. To nit-pick though: I would have preferred if the included fans were white, as this is the "White Edition", the black outlining on the glass panels would have been nicer white as well, but I can cop that out to manufacturing. The smoked panel is darker than I'd like, but that may be a blessing after tossing a pile of RGB stuff in the mix.I've seen complaints regarding the plastic sheet on the PSU cover, and yeah it doesn't make sense to even have it there, but that shouldn't sway your opinion on the whole ... MoreIf you're the kind of person that buys all Strix, why are you even reading the reviews? It's two extra screws, so grow up. This is a case for showing off what you got, so the intent is that you'll be using the verticals primarily anyway.Overall, for ASUS's first run into the case market, it's good. But there is a few tweaks here and there that could be made.Is it expensive? Oh yeah. But it also feels like an expensive case. Probably because it weights so darn much. But last time I checked, everything Strix is more expensive. Is it a good case if you're just looking for a cheap case to throw your miscellaneous parts in? NoIs it a good case if you're looking for a premium case that feels as pricey as it is to show off your other premium pricey goods? I think it is, Yeah.

Case was easy to build in. Tons of room for new video cards. I purchased a separate riser cable and was able to mount the GPU vertical.Case comes with 4 140mm fans hooked to 3 pin fan header. Fans were not loud but went ahead and upgraded them. Very easy to do.This was my first PC build and was very happy with how much room this case has to work with. Easy to run cables. Just a heads up, you will most likely need CPU power extensions as the PSU is fairly far away from the top of the motherboard.
Yeah, sooo it wasn't as great building inside this case as every one online seems to be saying it is. Number one thing that killed me is that this is directed towards ROG products but it was very counteractive with my own Asus ROG Extreme Z590 motherboard. 1 USB connector gets blocked if you want to use the GPU anti sag arm. The 24 pin is a tight fit because there's a bar in the way that connects one part of the inside chassis. The noctua fan cables barely fit on the side of the case when you front mount them. Top radiator clearance is lame, I couldn't fit a ek XE 60 mm with regular 25 mm thick fans. The gpu cable cut out was cut out by a blind person lol it doesn't make sense for any new cards with 3 8 pin cable connections. The cable management in the back has a ... MoreYeah, sooo it wasn't as great building inside this case as every one online seems to be saying it is. The gpu cable cut out was cut out by a blind person lol it doesn't make sense for any new cards with 3 8 pin cable connections. The cable management in the back has a cover to hide it but it is weak even when you tuck your cables in neatly. It sits to close to the case and I always have to force it shut and screw it down. Add to this the insane amount of weight it develops once it is built! Seriously uncomfortable to carry back to my desk from the work bench. No rgb lights inside this 300 dollar case. Only the front panel. The good thing is that you can fit a 54 mm 420 rad in the front and a standard 360 rad at the top at the same time.... Also, why do I have to remove that dumb side mount bracket to reach the brackets behind it? That is all, I really wanted to like this case but I plan on working on my already owned Evolv X. It was cheaper but somehow it feels like a better built case all around. I can't recommend this case :(Micro Center on the other hand did an awesome job at handling my order. This was my first online purchase compared to always waking in the store directly. Great online catalog especially if you need EK coolant and accessories fast!
I'm on up there in years so heavy things are a hindrance to me. This case worked after I got a defective one the first time. It has plenty of room to put components in but after putting in a motherboard and power supply the case weighs almost 50 pounds. The start button on top of the case is not easy to find since I can't see the top of the case as it sits on the computer table and the reset button is much more difficult to find on top of the case. This whole event came from a desire to have more USB 3.x ports on the case. This one has four so mission accomplished there, but at a cost.I've purchased Asus products since 2018 and have become used to their attributes and fairly satisfied with their performance. I bought this case from the Microcenter in Fairfax VA. The staff was very friendly as well as very knowledgeable and eager to help. The ASUS ROG STRIX HELIOS case itself is amazing with a ton of space and great features such as plenty of USB outlets and its own internal fan hub. Also installed is 4 140mm case fans, 3 in the front and one in the rear. The back has a panel that covers your cable management so if your like me and OCD with your cables this does a great job of covering them up. I do however recommend getting cable extensions for the top connections on your motherboard, reason being is this case is big and if you don't have an extension you will see a cable going across the back of your case through the see through panel where there isn't a panel that ... MoreI bought this case from the Microcenter in Fairfax VA. I do however recommend getting cable extensions for the top connections on your motherboard, reason being is this case is big and if you don't have an extension you will see a cable going across the back of your case through the see through panel where there isn't a panel that covers the cables because the panel I was referring to only covers half of the back. Another great feature is the see through window in the bottom of the case that pairs excellent with the ROG Thor PSU. I would highly recommend this option to anyone that's an ROG enthusiast or just wants to build a powerhouse PC. Reason being with all the room there is plenty of room for cooling, extra fans, or just about anything you can put in a case will fit and it just looks great especially if you add RGB. Another great feature is the adjustable GPU support which prevents sag from your GPU especially those that have the bigger cards suck as the 3080 or 3090. I myself LOVE this case and would recommend it to anyone despite the price tag. You do get what you pay for here. I was very happy with my purchase as well as locking in Microcenter as my absolute favorite store in the world now. I WILL be planning trips regularly. This was my first visit and there inventory is just amazing and most of it is on display which is a big plus. If your reading this and never been to Microcenter I strongly recommend going. The prices are unreal and even if you have a long drive you will still be saving money after gas because they have the absolute best prices anywhere around. I hope this review was helpful to anyone reading and I can assure you if you were thinking about getting this case do it! Thanks for reading.

- I know there was some jokes about its weight and the straps... but it's not that bad, but its not light either. It weight reminds me of the old full tower metal TT cases from the early 2000s. Fully built it will be a bit heavy up to likely 50 pounds however not outside what should be expected when building something like this. Its roughly 35 pounds empty (manu fact spec claims 18kg i.e. 39 pounds but I dunno I would have to weight it to confirm and I had just worked out so felt lighter then it might have been). So the "Carry to a LAN" thing is maybe not ideal advert... So the "Carry to a LAN" thing is maybe not ideal advert... While I can toss 50 pounds around no problem may be quite awkward/difficult for a person of small stature. - If you are looking for a "LAN"/mobile rig this is a horrible idea, between the weight and the tempered glass, this is not something you want to be lugging and tossing around without care and effort taken. To put the weight into perspective my cases I use for LAN/Travel are Corsair C70, a metal case with handles and the same size while weighing approx 60% less and cost 60% less as well. However If you want a case to show off, and will take time to ensure its handled carefully sure travel with it, I bought it more as a display piece for my SO new streaming build. - While I found the manuals to be adequate, they are definitely high quality yet extremely barebones, and do not approach the level of detail and information I have been accustomed to with other case manufacturers. Perhaps reduce the quality of paper/print to produce a manual of actual substance. Reality is 90% of this case users will barely look at it but for those who do need it, the illustrations and instructions are quite vague and poor. Ive been building computers for 20 years and looked at it to confirm how the Vertical GPU adapter worked as I wanted to mount a single 2080ti as close to the motherboard as possible and I got the gist of it, but yeah diagrams and overall instructions could use improvement. Enough to downgrade it? No... but something for them to improve upon. - The shipping/packaging box size could likely be reduced with packaging redesigned? While this item is likely low volume enough not to matter, if Asus continues its dive into selling cases they should work to improve the packaging to be smaller/cheaper/efficient.
This case is on a whole new level of quality and design. It's gorgeous like a work of art. Built like a tank. It's quiet. It's slightly larger then I was looking for. It is very heavy which is fine. Fits my RTX 4090 and 360mm ROG Water cooler no problem and easily. Nothing compares to how exceptional this case is especially powered up with the lights on set to the color I like. Black version looks best to me. My AMD 7950x3d is running 32c at start up and 38c after hours of gaming maxed settings on 4k HDR 144hz with low fan settings. That's super cool. Can't see the ROG 1000watt Thor II Power Supply WATT draw lcd screen though.
