It's very quiet and runs quite cool even driving a 4K display with AAA titles. Easy to install, seems very well made and great lighting effects. My only complaint is that it's so big! The actual card is as long as most air cooled GPUs and significantly bigger than Aorus Waterforce AIO GPUs.

Amazing GPU. Performance and looks.

I got lucky getting this GPU at MSRP. I was not planning on getting this card or even an AMD card at all. I was hoping to get a 3080 or 3090. After seeing what this card is capable of and how good it looks I've decided to just keep it. Went from an ROG 2080ti to this one, and there's definitely a jump in performance. Another thing I noticed compared to the 2080ti was my overall system temperature. When stressing the 2080ti the amount of heat coming out of the computer was crazy. It even increased my room temperature a couple degrees. I do not have that "issue" with the 6900. My last AMD (ATI) card was a Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 in crossfire. I believe I paid around 350 bucks for each card back then and it was just top performance. Paying over $1000 for 1 GPU isn't fun ... MoreI got lucky getting this GPU at MSRP. Some of my system specs: - Asus STRIX X570 E Gaming - AMD 3900X @4.5Ghz all cores - 32GB Corsair RAM @3200Mhz - ASUS ROG Strix Helios Case - Asus Strix 6900XT - Corsair RM850x PSU - Samsung G9 (5120x1440 @240Hz) and yes, GPU has ran games all maxed out without any issues.

Beautiful Card with Top-Tier Performance

As you would expect, this card runs incredibly. I can max out any game settings at 1440p and stay above 60 fps. This is without any custom tuning and only using the AMD presets, which is quite impressive. It normally does not get any hotter than 60C under load at around 70% fan speed. My two main problems with the card are the tubing and the price. The tubing is fairly rigid and sticks out quite far from the card. This is a problem because the side panel of my full tower case puts quite a bit of pressure on the card. It is probably worth using a vertical mount in smaller cases. Also, the only reason I bought this card is because of availability. If supply were not an issue, I probably would not have paid such a premium as it is not worth the performance ... MoreAs you would expect, this card runs incredibly. It has made gaming so smooth and has really brought out amazing details in modern games (such as RDR2). Is it worth the price? Probably not. Will it give you an amazing gaming experience while looking stunning? Absolutely.

Blown away by the performance of the red team.
22 August 2022

Dont be afraid to step away from the green team. I have this paired with an 11900K and 32GB RAM and gaming is fantastic. Bf4 is pulling over 120fps on 4K and buttery smooth. Armory crate works well on the lighting and it looks great vertically mounted.

Fast GPU with great temps, let down by the pump.
13 June 2021

This is the first AMD dedicated graphics card I've ever owned, since I built my first PC in 2013, I've always stuck with NVIDIA, this changed with AMD's RDNA2 architecture. This GPU is fast, in non-Ray Traced games at 1080p-1440p, it'll beat the RTX 3090 in many games because of how high the CPU clocks and because of AMD's 128MB of Infinity Cache. At 4K, the RTX 3090 is faster in most games, but not by a huge amount, and certainly not enough to justify the extra £1000-£1500 RTX 3090s are going for over the RX 6900 XT in the current market and I have both an RTX 3090 FE and RX 6900 XT.The main selling point of this specific model is the included 240mm radiator, the fans will get up-to around 1700-1800rpm while gaming, which is audible, but still quieter than most ... MoreThis is the first AMD dedicated graphics card I've ever owned, since I built my first PC in 2013, I've always stuck with NVIDIA, this changed with AMD's RDNA2 architecture. This GPU is fast, in non-Ray Traced games at 1080p-1440p, it'll beat the RTX 3090 in many games because of how high the CPU clocks and because of AMD's 128MB of Infinity Cache. Temperatures are also very good, GPU temperature will hover around 55-56c, with GPU junction temps around 75c, memory junction temps hover around 70-75c, all great temps considering the 240mm radiator and amount of power this card will pull under load, which is around 300-330W.My only complaint and reason for the four star rating is the pump noise, if you sit close to your PC, at idle, the pump is audible, it makes a very consistent buzzing sound. I've checked on other forums and this seems to be a common complaint with the RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT STRIX LC GPUs.As with most Hybrid GPUs, there is no way to control pump speed, so it always runs at 100% speed, which is annoying. This is not an issue solely related to Asus or AMD cards, if you search on YouTube for "EVGA pump noise", you'll see what I mean.I plan on putting a waterblock on this card eventually, so pump noise isn't a huge deal for me, but is something you should be aware of, considering the price of this card.

ParticleMan "Great GPU shortage"
27 March 2021

I bought this GPU on OfficeDepot.com during a whirlwind of emotions due the Great GPU Shortage of the mid-early 2000s. It was crazy, we had just barely sorted out crypto-currency and here we were clicking on links so furious. Well, wouldn't you have it? One of the oFficedepot.com links popped up and I clicked on it.

Powerhouse GPU!
15 March 2022

I bought this GPU about 5 months ago and it has been my go to for everything that requires Discreet Graphics. The gaming performance and overclocking capabilities of this 6900XT is second to none in my opinion. You can't go wrong rocking this LC 6900XT. I also need to mention that the GPU Die is hand selected and of the highest quality!

The best ( by far ) graphics card I have owned
1 April 2021

Assuming that the case of the PC can accomodate this Goliath, only ultra positive comments can be made.Extremely powerful. Robust design. Runs very cool.Fans rarely start and are quiet. No noise ( coil whine ).Very elegant.Highly recommended for very high end systems.

The best 6900XT?
3 May 2021

Went from a reference 6900XT to this Strix model in hopes to push the card a little harder. My reference card was a better overclocker than this model with MPT, but the quietness and aesthetics make up for the marginal difference in performance. Dont buy this expecting to shatter OC word records, as that seems to be more silicon lottery dependent... but rather because you like the look / want quiet operation.
