The best GPU on the market! (besides the OC ver). I bought this GPU to pair with my 7800x3D and it does not disappoint! This card's radiator is the best in the market. When I game at 4k MAX settings, I have not seen this card's temp reach over 65C! On average I'm getting 50-55C when gaming in QLD summertime. INSANE performance if you're willing to pay the premium. My card does not have any audible coil whine and runs VERY quiet.

The day the 4080 SUPER released, I rushed to Canada Computers, only to find out my favorite model line - ROG STRIX - was a lot more than the other models, in fact it is +300 more than the founders, and 100-300 more than the others. Anyways I still made the choice to pick it up. After testing it out amongst a few games, paired with a 7800 X3D in 1440p, I can confidently say that this GPU can run anything at high-max settings with over 60fps or more, most of the tjme without DLSS too. Overclocking this card is also an option as this card has the highest clock speeds amongst the 4080 SUPERs. One last thing to note is the GPU is relatively quiet and cool. Brilliant card, the cooling is off the charts good, and Performance is over the top brilliant. it also looks the part, beautiful. Although I think I would like even more RGB especially on the top side or on the fans for the people who have them vertically mounted. my only downside is the slight coil whine you can hear mostly when games pull high FPS it can be squeaky noisy.

After upgrading to the ROG-STRIX-RTX4080S-O16G-GAMING, I noticed an immediate boost in my gaming experience. The high frame rates and stunning graphics quality made games feel more immersive than ever before. I mean what is there to say about this. It speaks for itself. Its a 4080 Super so of course its powerful and fast. It looks great! And its temps are amazing. Ive played Cyberpunk 2077 full graphics DLSS and everything as high as possible quality in 4K at 120hz and the card only reaches 60 degrees with the fans going to 30% speed. Thats amazing. My cards fans have not once gone over 33% yet.
A well designed, well manufactured graphics card. Runs very cool and very quietly. I have the card mounted vertically (PCIe bracket downwards) in my Lian Li SUP01 and this orientation does not affect the performance of the vapor chamber and/or heatpipes/fin array. Combined with GPU Tweak III, this card gives the user lots of options for experimentation and optimization. Apart from the high performance technical aspects, this card does have a real 'aspirational' quality to it.
Overall great product and haven’t had any issues coming out the box. I get cool temperatures at 29° C idling. Significant upgrade from my 3080FE. Great for 1440p gaming and I have it paired with a 5900x. I currently get about 360 FPS when playing Rainbow Six Siege and all ultra settings and the monitor is 1440p 32” curved

I recently moved to a 32” 4k monitor from 1080p, and knew that this expenditure was a must in order to play games with all the eye candy turned on. It will not disappoint! I’m not a competitive gamer looking for 500fps, but usually setup games to play at lowest frame rates possible where the game plays smoothly using highest quality settings, which is usually between 80-100 fps. Using that formula, I get an incredible gaming experience, while keeping GPU temps in the mid 45-55c range, and at that temp, the fans spool around 1000rpm, so it is extremely quiet. Im coming from a 1070ti and this was a big upgrade for me. The GPU runs wayy cooler and plays the modern games very smoothly with DLSS3. I get 4K/60 easy with most games. If you want better frames. Id lower to 1440 for beyond 120fps. My PC was pushing the clock to like 2850 beyond the boost clock listed. It wouldnt go beyond 43c. Plus the price was a no brainer from what im coming from. Recommended
Don’t cheap out going for the AMD’S 7900xtx. Unless you wanna be uninstalling graphic drivers and dealing with stutters go for the well trusted and best nvidia rtx 4080! I bought a sapphire nitro for the much “higher fps”ended up selling it and buying this rtx 4080! Dont make the same mistake I made.
