After doing a couple weeks of googling and research I found this beautiful gem! This monitor is perfect for 2K gaming! The best bang of your buck if you will. It’s got built in programming to change settings on the fly, adjust the performance of the monitor and can even OC it (yes you can OC a monitor). The screen is rated at 144Mhz but the build in programming can have you push 177Mhz, while still providing a clean crisp picture and runs smoothly. Also the RGB thing is kind of cool, but it’s on the back of the monitor and isnt bright enough to provide any back light. However performance wise it’s great! Highly recommend this monitor to anyone buying a new starter PC or even as a second display. It’s budget friendly and worth it

Great screen, a little friendlier for non-game apps than full 4K. It will take a standard VESA 100mm mount but you need to remove the plastic ring hiding the screws at the back. It's not difficult but a little challenging if you don't know about it. There are several YouTube videos on the subject. One suggests you could do it with your fingernails, but I would recommend a screwdriver!

I'll start by just saying this is certainly not a budget monitor but I think it's great for the price. Being factory calibrated and having the certification for it is great. I love the contrast and depth of colors. It has a USB pass through which I didn't think I'd use but make a lot of use of now that I have it. Great for phone charging or a SD reader or similar that I don't often use but don't mind having a cable hanging from and not have to fuss with plugging in. The rgb on the back is a nice touch too. I also have not noticed any bad ips glow or anything.I love the feature set and overall performance of it. I have not had any issues with image ghosting or anything at all when setting up overdrive and adjusting the level properly. Even blacks look great on it. ... Only issue I could say is that I would wish it had better anti glare/reflection but that's really it. It doesn't shake or wobble on my desk at all without the entire desk shaking either.
Bought this in order to finally have two 27" 2K monitors side-by-side, other one I already have is from more like ~2016 and starting to show its age.I've been pretty blown away by the vividness of the color and just how great the HDR looks in games that support it. Makes my old monitor next to it look pretty drab. Considering eventually getting a second one of these so that both panels match -- happy enough with this one that I wouldn't really bother shopping around for anything else.
It was finally time to make the upgrade to a monitor more appropriate for gaming. The picture is crisp and clear, with tons of options tweak your performance. I'm really impressed with the monitor stand as well. It was super easy to get it in just the right position, and can quickly align vertically or horizontally without any hassle. Its also got cool glowy lights so people will take you seriously as a human being. My only small issue is the built in speakers (I know, who uses them....but still) are easily the worst quality I've seen (heard) on a monitor. I have no interest or need for monitor speakers so that doesn't effect my final rating. YMMV
Cons: the only con here is that you may need a big table if you prefer to have the screen in the middle of the table because the way they made the stand is stupidly shaped as a long V so that means the stand will be taking up unnecessary space in fromt of you. It seems like it was made to be position on the corner of a table which is not ideal for everyone.Pros: the screen looks really nice with good detailed pictures, the texts look crisp, and of course the 144hz (i dont overclock) feels very smooth with no tearing when playing fps games just make sure to set up gsync
The monitor is a HUGE upgrade for those with a cheap 1080p monitor. Every game will become so much more immersive and all media content will look so much better. However, G-Sync kept causing black screens for me and disabling G-Sync completely was the only fix. My system is the RTX 3070 version of the 2021 Asus Rog Zephyrus G15 and the monitor is connected via a USB-C to Displayport cable. I used the same system/cable with my old monitor that has G-Sync and there were no problems when gaming with G-Sync enabled. UPDATE (12/5/21): I returned my original monitor for a replacement because there were 2 stuck pixels on the screen and my replacement monitor right out of the box has a stuck pixel on first boot up. A relatively budget-friendly G-Sync compatible 1440p monitor with an IPS panel. Expected amounts of backlight bleed from an IPS, but nothing too bad and pretty uniform. Using it for both work and gaming.Haven't tested 170 Hz overdrive mode (previous bad experience with LCD overdrives), but does its job well at standard 144 Hz. That said, I have personally bumped it down to 120 Hz, because at that point the monitor supports 10-bit color, and I'd rather have that over a few extra frames per second.Obviously, DO NOT BUY THIS FOR HDR PURPOSES (again, quite expected). This is DisplayHDR 400 certified monitor, meaning it can in principle go brighter and display HDR images. But the brightness is nothing to write home about, SDR content will just look washed out, and without localized backlight adjustment it's not a proper experience. If you're looking for HDR, be sure to select a screen with multiple backlight zones.Controls placement a bit unfortunate when side to side with another monitor, can barely reach the control joystick from below even with long fingers.
The colors are top notch, relaxing to work on. The wife also commented that it was MUCH better than the old one. Black is really black without white stinging the island. Haven't run a lot of tests and violent calibration, but when I play "God of War" I am filled with happiness at how beautifully the light falls between the trees. So then I'm happy.Stand is also very good - Builds slightly forward in front of the screen so the "imprint" on the desk is small. Looks rock solid. My previous screen lasted ten years, hope this one does the same.
