Amazing monitor for the price - G-Sync works with Pascal or newer on latest drivers!

After one year of use I have almost no complaints about the performance of this monitor, save for the one stuck pixel that I noticed shortly after purchase. It's faint green so not noticeable at all unless the screen is completely black so I really forget about it 99.999% of the time. I would recommend this monitor for anyone who wants a curved 144hz 1080p monitor with a very good adaptive sync window (48-144FPS with low-framerate compensation). At the 27" size with all these features I think this is a fantastic monitor and would definitely buy again.

I have bought this monitor because of good reviews I have found online. The build quality it's very good, RGB lighting it's nice, overall it looks nice but the picture quality it's awful. It literally hurts my eyes. I tried all the settings, raving, rgb, fps, ecc but nothing. I also tried a manual calibrations with setting I hev found online but still awful. The brightness it's very low and if you are trying to play with the gamma settings the image becomes grainy. So if you are looking for a good picture quality, avoid this monitor...

Blown Pixel, HORRIBLE support and business practice

Could have been great
26 April 2021

I love this monitor but after having it for a couple months I started getting distorted lines across the bottom 2 inches of the screen they go away after a few minutes after start up. I finally found out it has something to do with running at 144hz, if I run it at 120hz I don't have the issue. Which is a bummer I'd rather have my 144hz I paid for but whatever I guess I'll have to replace this monitor in the next year which is sad cause I've only owned it for a year now. I didn't want to send it in for repair because I don't want to have to go without a monitor for weeks while they decid if they're going to fix or replace or just send it back cause they didn't see the issue themselves.

Great 1080P high refresh rate gaming monitor
5 May 2021

Great 1080P high refresh rate monitor. Haven't had any issues with it since purchasing almost a year ago. Looks great with the included stand or mounted using a VESA mount (I've used both). The joystick toggle on the back makes navigating the on-board settings menu really fast and easy. Only critique I have is it would be nice to have an input button on the monitor instead of having the navigate through the menu to switch inputs. I think this would be a major improvement for anyone that wants to use this with multiple devices.

Great 144hz Gaming Monitor
27 June 2018

Really a killer monitor. My 5 stars is based of of the spec range, yes there are more powerful monitors out there. However, at 1080p 144hz freesync, I don't know that anything is better than this. I've played on a zowie and an acer a non-ROG Asus, while all comparable, the build quality on this is just much better. I play mostly FPS, I'm not ultra competitive, so I didn't go with the meta 24". I do think 24" is the sweet spot for pros, but 95% of gamers wouldn't be affected dramatically. Enjoy the realestate IMO.

Stunning product with the performance to match
18 January 2019

This monitor looks amazingly sleek. The rgb ring and LED logo are nice touches. The stand is very sleek and features a cable holder. The monitor is very high quality and 144hz is amazingly smooth. It really has improved my performance in various shooter titles, provided I can get the correct frame rate. At least a GTX 1070 for this monitor if you want to play the latest titles at medium and 144hz. The only downside of this monitor is that 1080p resolution. Asus really should have stepped up to 1440p especially when you consider that Dell sell a similar 144hz monitor with 144hz and g sync. However an awesome product.

Unreliable Garbage
7 January 2019

The screen failed and turned black and got vertical lines. The monitor was never dropped or damaged in anyway. I know it was not my PC, as it worked fine with other monitors. Just do be sure I tested the monitor by using it on a different PC and even a mac, I also changed the HDMI cable, the plug it was plugged into, etc. Asus claims it is a firmware update and your monitor has to be shipped in, however this is caused by cheap parts. For a monitor thats $350, it shouldnt fail after 11 days. Definitely avoid.

[Rewarded Review] Great gaming monitor
12 May 2020

This is a great 1080p 144hz option for gaming. While the curve doesn't provide much and isn't super noticable, the anti glare screen is great, especially for playing in darker environments. The height adjustment is also useful if you need more space for stuff below your monitor. Also has good cable management options to help hide your HDMI and DisplayPort cables.

[Rewarded Review] THE MONITOR IS AMAZING
15 October 2018

I love all Asus ROG products. I have an Asus ROG Hero VII motherboard from 2014 and it is still going strong. I bought this monitor and was super upset with the shipping estimate versus the actual delivery date and then it arrived broken. I contacted Best Buy.com support and they were happy to help me and the people in the store at the grand parkway store were amazing. The package arrived on time in terms of the replacement. I am so glad I did not up and get a different model. I really do not like buying things I can not see and touch or get same day but this was an excellent decision. The lighting effects are super cool, although you will never see the lights on the back. For this price it is overpriced from the manufacturer as it is only 1080p but regardless, the freesync and 144hz and the quality of the build make up for this. I have never had a curved screen but I am loving it. Make sure to change your Windows settings to 144hz which are default to 60. I dislike that windows does not allow me to turn down the brightness and there are not even built in speakers for the size of this but I have pc speakers so not a big deal just odd. I used to use a TV as a monitor, a 40 inch, and it died and best buy warranty had me replace it so i chose to get an actual monitor this time and the advantages are nice.
