A thing of beauty. Brighter than my Samsung LRc27 VA Panel.First thing I did was update the firmware which was as easy as plugging in the supplied USB A Cable from the monitor to the PC. Took about 2-3 minutes. HDR is UNREAL its so beautiful. The build quality is top tier. Text is clear. The text fringing reviewers are talking about is through a magnifying glass. The Matte coating is actually really good and not aggressive. You really have to see the motion clarity for yourself to believe it. Hands down the greatest monitor Ive owned. And Ive had $1500 mini LEDs. Dont even blink. Get this ASAP. B&H top tier shipping as well. Thanks BH 3

It randomly errors out and Nvidia-failsafe mode turns on locking it into an unusable 600p 60hz. In monitor firmware MCM101 it locked down every time I turned on HDR in win11 or every time a game with HDR turned on. For the early adopter
2 June 2023

ProsThis monitor really takes your desktop and gaming experience to the next level. Perfect blacks and vibrant colors are nice. HDR is incredibly bright. ASUS has pushed multiple firmware updates to tune HDR performance (currently using MCM104). Set my peak brightness to 860 in W11 and I was getting eye searing brights in HDR.ConsI wish I could say this monitor was perfect but it’s not. The lack of HDMI 2.1 is disappointing for the price of the display. When using VRR the display can flicker for specific apps. Due to panel limitations HDR can see pretty big shifts in brightness depending on the scene.TLDR: Display is nice for early adopters who want small OLED. Not perfect though.

Great for gaming only

This monitor I believe is just the start of some amazing technology but it isn't refined enough for everyday use other than in game yet.The colors are absolutely amazing in game, the black is so deep and can't be faulted. The downside to this monitor is its use for anything but the game. The OLED feature causes all text in menus, web browsing and documents to have each individual colored dot act like a shadow behind each letter which therefore makes all letters seem blurred. After using this for less than a few minutes out of game I was squinting and found everything hard to read. Unless you are going to use this monitor solely for gaming you cannot rely on it as an everyday use monitor. Due to this it had to be returned but I am excited to see how the technology ... MoreThis monitor I believe is just the start of some amazing technology but it isn't refined enough for everyday use other than in game yet.The colors are absolutely amazing in game, the black is so deep and can't be faulted. The downside to this monitor is its use for anything but the game. For more in-depth info on everyday use there is plenty online regarding the issues.

The End Game Monitor
10 June 2023

This monitor is truly amazing. I’m only one night into gaming on this and can say I’ve never experienced my games with colour and contrast quite like this before. I play a lot of competitive FPS games and am currently coming from the Asus ROG 27” AQN 1440p, 360Hz monitor. Although this monitor takes a step down in refresh rate (240Hz) but in my opinion the OLED panel and 0.03ms Response time make up for it! This Monitor comes pre-calibrated with a full cali report which was a nice touch given its price. Whether it’s FIFA, RPG games, or competitive FPS titles I don’t think you’ll ever second guess this monitor! It has amazing colour, fantastic contrast, aesthetics pleasing accents (RGB Galore), along with lightning quick speeds. I can’t wait for my next gaming ... MoreThis monitor is truly amazing. The best visual experience for the desktop in 2023
28 June 2023

It's probably not news to anyone at this point that OLED is the best display technology available right now for visual quality, and with the relatively small size and high refresh rate of the PG27AQDM, PC gamers no longer have to settle for a fast, smaller display with lower visual quality or a slower, larger display with higher visual quality. This finally lets me play my games the way they were meant to look and with the fastest possible response time and I doubt I could ever go back now. After only about a week of use I did start to notice some burn in though, but thankfully it wasn't permanent and was removed using the built in pixel cleaning feature. Just something to be aware of that you should run a pixel cleaning regularly and try to keep the monitor turned ... MoreIt's probably not news to anyone at this point that OLED is the best display technology available right now for visual quality, and with the relatively small size and high refresh rate of the PG27AQDM, PC gamers no longer have to settle for a fast, smaller display with lower visual quality or a slower, larger display with higher visual quality. Overall this is a really nice display and I would highly recommend checking it out.

Was great until QC Issue occurred
20 June 2023

I've had my eye on this monitor for a while but it has been difficult to find one in stock. Got the last one at Microcenter Dallas and was super excited to add this to my setup.Got everything set up, and as expected, everything just looked amazing. BUT, that excitement was shortlived because after about 20 minutes of use, the screen just starts flickering and has almost like a scan effect. I updated the firmware, used the provided DP cable, and it still does it. It almost looks like one of the Burn-In prevention modes they put in is malfuntioning. When I reboot the monitor, it goes away but comes back again after about 20 minutes.Great looking monitor that I'd be weary of at the moment due to the QC issues that myself and others have experienced.

What can I say. It's OLED 240hz 1440P!
2 May 2023

What more can I really say. I got it, I love it. I own the LG C2 also and I wanted to get an OLED gaming monitor that's 240hz in the 1440P Range. This Asus was it. Everything I own is ASUS for the Motherboard being the ASUS Crosshair Extreme X670E, ASUS ROG Strix 4090 OC. Now this monitor. I previously had issues with ASUS and QC for other IPS Monitors that I've owned and I don't have a dead pixel with this. Even with the Matte Finish, it's still nice and vibrant with amazing contrast ratio like OLED should be. It's about 98% of what a Glossy Finish would be and to be honest I'll take that cause even with a light on the colors punch through! Refresh Rate, Response Time, Resolution, and let's be honest! It's amazing.

Who is this monitor for...

This monitor was made for competitive shooters. I mostly play games like valorant, csgo and overwatch. This monitor was surprisingly a big upgrade from my previous monitor which was an ips 144hz monitor (also 1440p). I have also played on a 240hz monitors before but at 1080p. I am sold that high refresh rate oled was made for competitive gaming. I will say your eyes will need to adjust to how lively and vibrant the colors are. There were plenty of times the first few days of using this monitor where i got killed cuz im just standing there staring at especially red dominant areas like market on Ascent in valorant or Route 66 in overwatch. Your expensive overpriced valorant and csgo skins look like they were actually worth the money too. I dont recommend getting this ... MoreThis monitor was made for competitive shooters. I dont recommend getting this monitor if youre just a casual gamer. 26.5 in. is too small and you most likely better off getting an oled tv instead. Oh the things i would do to have someone erase my memory and let me play ori and the will of the wisps or hollow knight on a big oled panel...Anyways to all you hard stuck Diamond/ Ascendants who got irresponsible spending habits this definitely should be on your radar if youre looking for an upgrade. Mind the asus qc issues though.
